Sleeps in a coffin because he's scared of ghosts. Xie Mobei The youngest Hall Master, 18 y.o. He just succeeded the position for a few months. In charge of assassination and killing mission. Wow.. This story is like a collection of so many C-novel cliches... Is the life of Papa Lu’s sister that miserable because of her mother-in law and sister-in law? Couldn’t she use the Lu families power to fight back or her husband’s love..? because she sounds like a punching bag. What’s the ending of the original leads?
Hence why it's a Qi novel It's miserable mainly because of her non-confrontational personality from being sickly since young. When she got married, both Papa Lu and their aunt vehemently disagreed to let her marry Yu Zheng, but since she insisted, their aunt (in her hot-headed temper) told her not to return to Lu family later. Everyone thought she was abandoned by Lu family, but both Papa Lu and Song Qingwan do love her. She did return to the Lu once in a while, but most of the time she would be travelling to paint. She also likes to keep things bottled to herself because she doesn't want to bother people, but it just made her depressed instead. According to Ori Novel: (note that any fights mentioned is not a literal physical fight, but business wars) Spoiler: A life without Lu Li Lu Family: Starting from Song Qingwan's death from advanced stomach cancer, Lu Junhan lost the humanity that can keep him in check, and doesn't care about Lu Group anymore. Around 2-3 years after, Lu Qidong finally woke up from his vegetative state and scolded Lu Junhan to save Lu Group from collapsing. But years of being a vegetative man had seriously affected his health, so he died soon after. Master Lu, after the death of his son and daughter was saddened and died alone in the old manor. Lu Anran was already having mild depression, and kept blaming herself for her aunt's death, and then had stomach cancer too. Yu Zheng was desperate to save his wife, asked Dr Hustler Smith for his miracle anti-cancer drug but was rejected until Song Chengze helped him in exchange for helping him overthrow Lu Group. Lu Anran was saved, but Lu Group collapsed, and Lu Junhan died in prison. Lu Anran felt guilty and helpless, depression becoming serious, and finally she committed suicide. Ori!Leads: Song Chengze, who managed to defeat Lu Junhan and turning Song family into Haicheng no. 1 powerhouse was targeted by the new Villain Boss Pei Xiubai. A series of schemes and designs pushed Song group into bankruptcy, and Ye Wanwan and her children had to live hiding from debt collectors like a street rat. Song Chengze was in prison and committed suicide. Later, Song Yiming raised against all odds and started to fight with Pei Xiubai and won.
The stage of the Ori!Novel is only in Haicheng, so it's unknown what happened to her. As Lu Li said, she had to be reincarnated 25 times before finally able to be become human because in the previous incarnations, Lu Junhan didn't have a biological child. From what Huo Tingyan said about Ruan Zhi's situation when she was saved, it was possible that the real assassin A would have died in mission or killed by her previous organization in the Ori!Novel. For the current timeline, Lu Li was finally able to reincarnate as a human because her mother in Heaven also transmigrated into the book as Ruan Zhi. It was unknown how she and Lu Junhan were able to do the deed since he was a famous woman-hater and even Lu Junhan himself believed that he had never slept with any woman. Heck, Lu Li herself didn't recognize her mother face-to-face even though she had noticed that Ruan Zhi looked like her mother lol (she said her mama in heaven usually wears a red dress, and Ruan Zhi wore tight-fitting black shirt and outfit on their first meeting). Now Lu Junhan himself didn't have memory with Ruan Zhi, it's very unlikely for the two koi fairies (who have horrible memories/fish brain) to recognize each other as mother-daughter lol. However, author had stated earlier that the mystery of how Lu Li was born is the climax of the novel and by the time Lu Li's parents got together it will be the ending of the novel. As for now, author will only focus on father-daughter bonding.
I did say that both mother-daughter fight for Lu Junhan's attention in heaven, but it was just a childish jealousy because Lu Li is such a daddy's girl (doesn't help that Papa Lu himself is a closet daughter-slave). Both mother-daughter have a close relationship like sisters, or Lu Li wouldn't happily eat her mom's handmade dimsum snacks even though it tasted horrible. And Ruan Zhi herself wouldn't search for Lu Li even with amnesia if she disliked her own daughter. The three of them are loving family, so I hope people won't misunderstand my words into something it's not.

I thought I finally found another fluffy story After reading the summary and the translated chapters, I was expecting only fluffy time between father and daughter bonding and face slapping the original leads. But this has made me not want to read it so much anymore. Did the author deviate in the story or was this the plan the whole time? I hate lengthy c-novels with all those soap opera dramas, with idiotic psycho antagonist.
I didn't spoil any summary yet, just some characters and a bit background info on their situation. The Ori!Novel itself wasn't fluffy to begin with, since the title was the very cliché "Woman running with the babies: Overbearing CEO tries to get married" (not actual title in novel, but you get what I mean). Which means the novel itself will definitely use cliché tropes like in soap opera, but will get run over by Lu Li's super luck and her silly innocence. Spoiler: Not spoiler, but probs close to ranting lol There is father-daughter bonding, but it's subtle and hidden beneath Lu Li constantly driving her Papa nuts and Lu Junhan trying not to spank his daughter but failing. Just so you know, the two of them sleep together since Day 1, so that's where they usually have the most father-daughter bonding time. Lu Junhan himself is very protective of Lu Li (i.e.: Early of the chapters, modified her pictures circulated in public so she won't get targeted by kidnappers. Doesn't let her kiss/get close any male (especially Pei Xiubai) except him. Worried that his daughter is too beautiful/cute so he even asked Master Lu if the bodyguard he prepared for Lu Li is enough to prevent unwanted bugs from nearing her). Anyway, anything Papa Lu did for Lu Li is subtle except when he's jealous. And he won't admit he's jealous. That's why he's a super tsundere. I understand not wanting to stay for stories with long chapters though. I remember that I kept up with Demonic King Chasing His Wife until 10k chapters and decided to stop cuz it's going nowhere (Good news: It's finally ending!) and I'm still reading another novel that has reached 7k but still reading them (infrequently) cuz they all have one similarities: short chapters with 5km/h speed of plot movement. As far as I'm reading this novel though, the plot actually moved pretty fast imho especially if you binge read 100 chapters in a row (finished binge-reading in 3 days, while also reading manga). And author will give us a heads-up on what's going to happen/appear next so we can expect what's the situation gonna be after one arc/plot ends. As I said in early post I made, this is published in Qi website, where you shouldn't expect short novels to be found. I was also deceived at first because this kind of novel is not really common in Qi and thought it was published in jjwxc. But since I decided to mtl it, I continued reading and wasn't disappointed. The comedy worth all the short chapter cliffs and the probability of a long series. However, if you're looking for short family bonding fluff, Jinjiang website (jjwxc) is your answer
Can i ask whether that Song Wanwan (OG FL’s daughter) also know the future/ from the future? shes too cunning for a child, than again that Pei kid (possibly our ML) is also nuts and doesnt act like normal kid in real world. Spoiler: My thoughts Anyway the weird thing about OG FL is that she mock Lu li as a wild species (rude way to say illegitimate child), didnt her children used to be “wild species” the same as Lu Li, im sure shes hurt when other people said that about her children. Why would you mock other child like that -_- thats just dumb and rude. And for Song Wanwan, her child, why would you teach your child to look down on ppl? Now she offended lots of powerful families. Like, even if they are “poor”, these children are still young, you dont know what happen in the future, maybe 20-30 years later these children’s families will be more rich and powerful than you. Plus this kindergarten is for elite families, there are no ordinary kids there, it would still be bad if your daughter offended too many children even if theyre families are not as powerful as yours. You cant cover the sky with your hands only, you could never defeat them if they outnumbered you. I know you could see the future, but if you teach your children to look down on people, which made her offended a lot of people, youre just adding your enemies, and adding more danger, not reducing them. Shes too stupid. Also that Xie Qin (the kindergarten teacher) shes soo stupid, even if theyre not powerful, if you were to hit children with steel ruler, wouldnt there be any marks left, they would cry and told it to their parents when they go home, the parents would deff come and yell at the principal. Plus theyre kids, usually kids dont lie, they would ofc believe the kids rather than the adult. No sane principal or owner of a school will side with the teacher if these kind of trouble arise. And they could report it to the media or police, no matter how powerful the Song Family, if the public know this, it’s impossible for her to be save. Shes so dumb. The Idiot thing that the OG FL also done, when her daughter was kidnapped, before she knew the ins and out, and who were they, she immediately assume it was her sister Ye Rourou. And she thought Ye Rourou would just do this to make a rift between her and OG ML. Like gurl there are other kids that were kidnapped along with your daughter, if its as you assumed and it is your sister, why would your sister kidnapped other kids, thats just unnecessary. And atleast act like you are worried even if youre not, people will think youre crazy for not thinking about your daughter in these situations. The OG FL actually more worried about Xie Qin going to prison, because shes the one who help her reconcile with her husband in the novel. Xie Qin offended 4 big families as strong as Song if not stronger, your husband already has his hands full dealing with Jian, now you want her to get out of prison and offend other families? Didnt you say you want to be friends with the Jian Family? If you were to force Xie Qin out of prison, wouldnt that offend the Jian family more? Ughhh why should almost every “OG FL” be dumb, evil, arrogant, and reckless. Unlike their counter part in the OG Novel. Despite the usual 2 Dimensional villains, I enjoys this novel tho, Lu Li is so cute. The interaction of the main characters are sooo funny and cute, i laugh my ass off while reading this, even tho i mtl it. Cant wait to read the proper translation. If it were me, if i know the future, i will act more carefully not adding my enemies, i would not force the child to be capable of something that theyre not ready to study yet, afterall you might ruin it rather than perfecting it. I will try to act more nice and kind + prudently towards people and the things ive done correctly in the past, i would just let it goes they way its suppose to be, not trying to do it earlier than the schedule. The OG FL is too reckless and stupid but thinks she is smart
