let's start with what i read. a muslim Ms. Marvel... yea wtf

brief intro from me if you hadn't read it... which i dint even recommend to read it.

the mc is a female muslim that was living in the wester country that wasn't a muslim country (obviously) and the intro is painted with overly non-muslim and muslim. the prologue with an interaction between she and her so muslim female friend in a sandwich cafe to 2 other not so good non-muslim friend.
and escalate to a party that which held that she isn't allowed by her parents, cuz its not a good thing in the muslim view (which had booze and other stuff)
she went off from the table at dinner in mid of family gathering to her bed room and slip away to the party. and what you know, she meet with the not so friendly non-muslim friend that offer her a juice... that had alcohol (vodka) in it. she get laughed at and went off un-happy about it and went home

oh btw she is a fanfic writer that like super hero in the MCU.

she went home angrily while thinking why her family so muslim all the time and didn't realize that a mysterious fog suddenly shows covering the city (prob the smog) surrounding her and make her faint. she dreams the heroes and had a brief conversation...
when she awake, she is the new ms. marvel....

i can only bleach my eyes after reading that, this is why political culture should stay away from entertainment media.
and i can guess by the way of its written, there are zero Muslim contribute to the story.
there are zero evidence that she was a Muslim, except the part when she say so, and the way of her brother use robe all the time... which is fine by me. but, other than that. nothing, lol.
the world building is shitty asf. and at this point,

ComicsGate is worse than fanfic at Qi.

Well the original Kamala Khan in the Marvel comics was written by two women who are either nominal or actual Muslims. However I don't know what you read is from or by whom

but mostly because the way she is, she is written to the audience teach the reader about something, and not to entertain

I heard the first few issues were quite good, though I haven't read it myself. How much did you even read, it seems like you read 1 issue and then started ranting and raving about it. At the end of your little summary she just got her powers, what do you even mean there are no villains? There don't have to be, I assume it's just a little introduction for the character pre-powers.

As for the politics in comics? That didn't start until a few years ago, I can see what you mean with the forced diversification. A lot of characters were introduced that were complete garbage (iron heart I think), but not Kamala Khan or Miles Morales. Maybe in the latest issues they became crap, but not the early ones. There is praise across the board for them.

Also, for the love of (Insert God Here), when you complain about something making you bleach your eyes, don't write a post that wants me to bleach mine.

Kamala portraying a Pakistani as a brown is racist in itself.....the majority of Pakistanis are very white like British and can be mistaken for one....its the Indians, Lankans, and the Bengalis that are brown majority.....

 

the story is quite fine, for a drama. not a super hero thing. cuz the way the cover says ms.marvel , not miss drama

I kept being distracted by how you wrote "witch" for "which", and I even mistakenly thought that "witch" is a home/character/etc when you 1st mentioned it(lol).
And I agree with you with that "this is why political culture should stay away from entertainment media". Even if you try to make your idea creative, you should always try to stay away from any controversial stuffs, unless you actually know what you are doing, which 90% or more people will fail on the 1st try.

Pakistani and Bangladeshi names are considered "muslim names". Your name doesn't have to be arabic for it to be "muslim" or you to be recognized as muslim. It simply has to have some sort of Arabic origin in your given name, unless you converted.

Oh racism, how we have not met for so long. Kamala Khan is an excellent character and her book is excellently written. It’s also one of the best selling books in the last decade.
