My origins come from England, I really can not be confused with a Pakistani ~

My favorite heroes from marvel are spiderman and ghost rider.

 

Oh then you don't have a first hand knowledge about the complexion of either Pakistanis or Bengalis.

 

It's an origin story man, what did you expect? She's not gonna be fighting villains right after she gets her powers, she has to get them, learn how to use them, and learn how to live with them first. I didn't read the first issue of Spiderman, but I'm sure he had to deal with having superpowers. Hiding them from his family and being hated by the press.

 

i expect more less someone that can be called a hero, even she is a women, even she is a muslim.
not by giving a superpower to her out of no where and boom, lets play hero.
the start off more like a drama to me, and ofc the rest of its still a good story. outside the agenda, witch is quite alot

 

DUDE. PETER PARKER GOT BITTEN BY A SPIDER! She is an inhuman I think, so it canonically makes sense for the fog to transform her. BS powers are part of comics, and this one isn't even as bad as most.

Keep in mind as well the comic character is written in the culture of Westernized/American Muslim experience and the living with and assimilation into secular society

 

When someone converts into Islam they are given a name with an Arabic origin.

Yeah...there are Bengali Muslims who keep their Bengali name as well as their Arabic name.

 

Though as you know, if they say live in America they might have a more "European name/white" name as well usually. Like they do with Indian and Chinese names when they get here

Ocean, the names with Indian origin are often tough to pronounce.

 

I know , I aesthetically and philosophically just find it more appealing. And plus if I really wanted to learn about and know a person/culture i would try to overcome the mispronouncement of names

 

Yes, I've a very close person who speaks a different Indian language and though we talk in English, I really love to hear them speak in their native language sometimes.
