Even if it is as bad as you say, there is no need to come to conclusions before it even started alright? Otherwise it will be even harder when you start uni... I hope you will do well and uni does not dictate what you are gonna do anyway
If it makes you feel better, your cousin is probably going to live like shit as a doctor, nurse, or whatever. I'm friends with an ER doctor and he's so burned out that you could murder him and he would thank you as the lights fade from his eyes.
It's normal to move out and live in a dorm or rent if you want to go to uni far from home. Heck, I moved countries for my uni and learned a new language. There are part-time jobs or student jobs, I hope, that can help you. I know it's different in each country. But if you really want something you should at least try to make it happen before giving up.
