How were the girls breathing under water before Artpe found them? There'd have been no reason for him to cast an underwater breathing magic on them when they'd been on the road and in the city for so long.
maybe he had casted it off-screen before? i suppose he knew the temple was outside the bubble like region, and it really doesn't say how long the spell lasts, so it could go from a few minutes to days at a time i guess
Water breathing is both a priest and mage spell in a lot of systems, so it wouldn't be surprising if Sienna also knew the spell for it.
That was deliciously harsh. Poor Artpe was at level 350 when he was killed and he couldn't even argue when Maetel said that. I half expected him to stop fighting and start drawing circles on the ground
Could it be that Artpe was destined to use 'joke skills' like Hyper Rubbing and the reason he was weak as a demon is because the great him has rejected such skills?
Well...now we know where the title comes from. Not sure dropping a building will reliably squish an octopus.

If real life octopuses (or is it octopi) are anything to base it off, that kraken will be fine. Octopi (or octopuses) can squeeze into real tight spaces much smaller than them. For once, being spineless is a benefit.
Normally I'd say we're getting mixed signals, except I think that it's just showing that when it comes to Artpe, Maetel is smarter than she looks. I mean Artpe is considering getting hit with falling temple debris to escape the "worse". Unfortunately I think Artpe fails to realize that would just force Maetel to play "nurse" for him.
Poor, poor Roa. Collateral damage to Artpe getting molested by Maetel and Sienna. Other thoughts: Naughty, naughty Maetel. You can steal energy from your companions or anyone seriously weaker than you. Looks like she's been abusing that facet of Record Divide for a while without telling anyone. For some reason I never pictured God's Flush working exactly like a toilet. I should have... I really should have... So basically Maetel helped channel a kingdom's worth of Mana into Artpe and Sienna Not sure how much of that mana went into Sienna's hammering the Kraken, how much went into God's Flush, and how much was spent not getting sucked into God's Flush. I liked how Sienna just gave up trying to scold Maetel and tried outmolest Artpe for Maetel.
