Yeah I get it. I think thats the difference between western media and japanese/chinese media. Western media tends to flesh out villains and viewers are sympathetic to them. While Chinese/Japanese media have cartoonishly evil characters that were made to be hated, and even if they do have a compelling reason the audience will still hate them just cause there the antagonist.
I noticed it too, like even a villain with a bit of head knows when to stop before losing everything instead in chinese/japanese novels they keep on and keep on till they have nothing left, and it's like they don't even learn from their mistakes or change mindsect like a person "should be able" to do...

I would like to know but I don’t have the mental bandwidth at the moment to try and understand mtl for the 2 new raw chapters that the author put out.
Actually, thinking more on it. Why did the MC love the Prince so much - like some sort of compulsive impulse? Its kind of weird. She is shown to be a smart and analytical lady. Why would she have lost her head over a guy that has proven over and over that he is absolutely no good - in both words and deed?
And it doesn't help that MC grew up within such a distorted environment of love, she was probably just craving to love and be loved in return... by latching on to the first person she fell for
I want to read more of this novel but there aren't many updates. So I ended up reading MTL which kinda drops the quality in reading. So now I'm waiting for translations.
