Let me guess, the Grand duke has some kind of 'Curse' hence why he avoid her in the morning, he don't want her to found out that he is some kinda 'monster' (maybe), I'm being a jerk to you to protect you some kinda BULLSHIT.

I came here for spoilers lmao. In the prologue of course I was rooting for the MC to run away, but I also thought that not because the ML was cold to her means he's 'trashy'. Okay, now--

From what I can tell in the two chapters and prologue translated so far, he seems to hate the her father and is taking it out on her. (Not knowing how the father abused her and treated her like nothing) I wonder if he knows she’s the girl from the party so many years ago…
