Well, this isn't a story set in the Coiling Dragon world with an original main character, Linley is still the hero! The idea is like this: At the start of the last book, when Linley gets the Life Overgod Sword, but before he becomes a Sovereign, he feels a strange connection with the weapon. By focusing on the connection, he begins to gain understanding into the Edicts of Life. After speaking with Beirut about it, Beirut recommends Linley to train by relying on the connection. After all, understanding into any Law or Edict is always good, right? Like this, Linley spends a million years training. At the end of the training, Linley becomes a Paragon of the Life Edict. After this, Linley uses the two Sovereign Sparks to become a Sovereign of Water and Earth, as per canon. Due to training to a Paragon in the Life Edict, the power he gains from the Four Element Fusion drastically reduced, and Linley cannot become a Universe Creator anymore. On the other hand, Linley can use the Life Overgod Sword to it's full potential, despite being a Paragon in the Life Edict. Mostly, things go as expected. Linley kills Teresia and uses his Sovereign Spark to become a Sovereign of Wind. When the Chief Sovereign of Wind attacks, Linley accidentally kills him. Everything changes here. Augusta figures out that Linley has fused 4 elements through his connection to the Fate Sovereign. He spreads the news. 60% of the Sovereigns instantly become his enemies. The plan of Beirut comes to a halt. He and Bluefire tries to help Linley, but it's useless. Linley covers for them and tells them to protect his friends, family and Clan. They immediately returns to the Yulan Plane in the chaos of the Sovereigns attacking Linley. After this? Linley slaughters through the Sovereigns, gets his hands on some Sparks and flees into Chaotic Space. He is not given a moment to rest and is tracked by everyone. The Sovereigns use all kinds of techniques like Formations, etc. To attack him. Linley quickly grows and begins mastering Element fusion attacks. Meanwhile, his friends, family , clan move to the Yulan Plane. Soon Linley not only becomes a Paragon in the 4 Elements, he also perfectly fuses the Elements into an ultimate attack. After this, Linley decides to confront the Paragons opposing him. After some time, a grand battle between Paragons takes place in the Chaotic Space above the Yulan Plane. Linley effortlessly slaughters through most of his enemies. Finally, the some Sovereign goes insane and descends into the Yulan Plane. The Yulan Plane is completely destroyed. Seeing this, Linley blankly stares at the explosion. Every single one of his immediate family is destroyed in the attack. Just then, the Overgod of Destruction descends and slaughters all the present Sovereigns. Finally, he attacks Linley. Linley, during the explosion of the Yulan continent, gets a single insight into the Law of Space. With that single insight, he slaughters the Overgod in one strike. After that, he simply begins crying because he has lost everything. He cries continuously for 1 billion years. After one billion years, he gets out of his deep depression and remembers that he is Linley Baruch and he can achieve everything if he wants to. He decides that he will turn back time and save everyone. Like this, Linley begins investigating into Space Time Law. He finds out that there are extremely few ways to impact Space Time, like Divine Beast special attacks and Formations. He also realises that the power of Will is closely connected to Space Time manipulation. He begins to investigate the Four Divine Beast Blood Essence. After a cursory investigation, he realises that wasting this blood essence will be very harmful. He decides that he needs to master Blood Essence ability refining, formations and make efforts to increase his Will. Over tens of billions of years, Linley masters formations, blood essence refining and has reached Paragon Level in every single Law and Edict. He did that by many insane techniques which would kill ordinary Sovereigns. He has created many Spells to boost his understanding of the Elements, and has finally reached the level of a GodKING, completely mastering the Law of Space. He has managed to gain some small understanding into the Laws of Time, and has created a technique to tunnel his Soul through Spacetime, back to when he was born, in Yulan Continent. The story begins here.
In Yulan Continent, Linley finds out that his soul is a mess. Somehow, he combined all the Laws and Edicts in his Soul. This practically makes it that when Linley becomes a Deity, Linley will die from the fusion. Also, he can't use the Laws of Space Time due to risk of temporal instability. Thankfully, Linley can use Spells and train till the Saint Rank. Also, he can use his Will. Linley has to save his parents, seduce Delia, save his Clan and slaughter those Sovereigns who destroyed everything in his previous life. conflicting facts. foreign sovereign that not from yulan plane cannot enter it grand battle of paragon? not sovereign? why would 60% of sovereign became his enemy? he already can trash most of the High sovereign already. lower grade would just be small fry and wont even dare to fight linley.
Wow, that background story is likable, and there is time travel thingy at the end. Though there is some fact that feels forced in there, and Temporal element (read:Time), if he only barely touch it, how he could suddenly bring his soul to the past? Yes I knew he mastered all of the elements and law, except Time.
Props to you mate, i skipped some arcs but read the ending. Can't really find any flaws since i dont know everything, but sounds interesting
it's impossible to master the laws of space and time in Linley's universe according to the head honcho dude. So basically this story is impossible in the first place.
Wow... Sounds interesting, but from what I remember about the plane Linley is in, there are only 7 Laws and 4 Edicts and no way for one to master space&time. If someone were to try to learn something outside the 7 laws and 4 edicts, the plane will collapse (cause it's a minor plane). But long before Linley tries to learn space&time I'm sure the 4 overlords (at the command of the 1st Grandmist master) will kill Linley. Your approach with space&time and also GODKING is probably coming from ST, which is also the same universe, but another plane altogether.
Well, it could be fun, but I don't want people altering the original universe. Changing the actions, events, and anything else is ok, but changing the RESTRICTIONS OF THE UNIVERSE is pretty drastic. If the events are not happening the original universe, then it's another story and no longer a simple deviation.
1) When a Foreign Sovereign enters a Material Plane, the Plane is destroyed, causing the descent of a Overgod. 2) It is supposed to be a Grand battle of Sovereigns. Most Sovereigns are Paragons. 3) They battle together, because they are using Formations, etc. Also, Linley won't let them flee.

Linley masters the Laws by witnessing the destruction of a Material Plane by the impact of a Sovereign's descent. This creates a loophole, allowing him to understand Space Time laws.
Ya know, I actually like the idea, but it feels pointless. He's going to have the same ending as before, becoming a Grandmist expert, right? This is just a more roundabout way of doing so.
Eh, if you want to write it go ahead. But I hate time travel novels like this one, so I probably won't be reading it. Especially cuz the entire causality of the timeline becomes very weird in a story such as this one. But Good Luck. Writing is always a good thing.
