depends on the lore of the land as i might know mythology and first aid much better than the average person there so i would present myself as an sage apprentice to learn magic and further research the applications of my knowledge to live an comfortable life there as 'must find a way back' stuff is not going to distract me from learning magic
I'd survive, if I had the ability to do magic then I'd probably do well, or even amazing. But if not, then yeah, I'd just survive in the woods like the noble sasquatch.
Well...maybe try to use magic too~~~or fusing other-worldly medicine knowledge and magic to be a researcher~~~Whatever the church will probably kill me too so~~~ aren't all my ways closed?

Depends, right now I have a bad memory because of insomnia. If I could remember everything I learned and my learning ability was not affected by the insomnia I would be able to do a good amount and survive.

I'd live like a normal villager A in most stories practicing whatever's available unless it gets pillage by bandits then I'd live a boring and monotonous life.
Slime will eat me like flesh eating virus or goblin will stab me with a rusty sword in the first week. Perhaps find work as accountant at a merchant. Depends on education level of sword and magic world, double entry accounting can greatly improve accounting records. Perhaps teach them how to make magical laser guns if I have magic, works more like a crossbow than anything else. If not then saltpeter and nitrates from rocks shit and urine for the usual. How do you make gunpowder? Someone need to write a guide for isekai living. Ascendancy of a bookworm has some idea for starting a plant paper and printing industry as well as shampoo, soap, confectionery. Join that with that samurai/college soul possession story for distilling sugar. Paper industry because toilet paper. Three sea shell or suicide.
Me? I'd just roam around till I find a village and settle down with them. I am not built for quests and adventures and stuff.
I'd get strong, find some treasures, make a few evil organizations and cults, install figureheads, take over some kingdoms and install more figureheads, get a job as a school teacher while watching the world, and last but most importantly, I would start a bl manga publication company. Plan B Get op without attracting attention and live my life in peace. Poo pretty boys, heroes, bad guys and kingdoms. Getting strong enough to stay alive is most important. Oh maybe I would try to find immortality magic or something. Oh don't forget making a tea shop in my spare time. Well I can cook to save my life at least...I hope.
I'd be so dead. Dead wouldn't describe it. Even some of the harshest novels make going to another world seem easy due to plot armor or the like. Even if you have knowledge, it can often be almost useless. 1) The world you are going to may follow a different laws of physics, especially since magic exists. I remember in one novel some odd character makes mayonnaise and it sells well at first until later on people start dying. (In that world mayonnaise is poisonous). Even things like gravity would be different. 2) Even if by some miracle, the laws are all the same. There is the issue of getting the money to build all this stuff and even worse the trial and error. We aren't Roland who can magically make even prototypes somehow work. But real world is far crueler. When you make something, it will have imperfections, especially due to lack of modern equipment. Even with modern machines with almost perfect precision, error is made. Many of these fail QC, but some get through QC. Now imagine taking up this process in another world? Now don't get me wrong, I am sure my knowledge will give me some advantages. But unless it starts with reincarnation from a baby into a noble household. Chance of living is very slim. If its a poor household, our own knowledge may lead to our death even quicker for multiple reasons (particularly, not being adjusted to lifestyle, making wrong cross world assumptions and in desperation to make it out of poverty, increase likelihood of failure. )
I have tons of knowledge about physics, math and chemistry. The worlds specific constants (like gravity) might be a little different, but the equations should still be the same. Combined with knowledge about which inventions would be useful and possibly magic as an accelerator progress isn't that far away even if my starting position isn't the best. And since all this information will bring me quite a bit of influence I could even prevent that world from making the same mistakes as ours to some extent.(environmental pollution, climate change, people almost being slaves to companies during industrial revolution, etc...)
