The story has finally ended for good. If everything goes well, we'll hopefully be seeing the new work around July. I'll be honest though, I really hope the author will go back to his roots and write the next story with more focus on the harem, their interactions and development. HF and IUD were quite dry in this aspect, mainly IUD, and those shitty nerfs that lasted around 1/4 of the whole books didn't help either.
Totally agree. IUD was especially bland in comparison. Although the harem interaction was lacking in HF it still had great powers, IUD on the other hand lacked both focus on the harem and versatile powers. Granted the mystic eyes at their final stage are really great but an mc who is only adept at killing techniques with only those eyes as a true ability just gets somewhat boring over time.

Isn't that Maidens' Grand Summoning? I just hope the this MC can summon male Familiars as well... It's not like he needs to get laid with every summoned familiar and the "I only summon beautiful females" genre is already saturated. If the author wants to make a harem he can just work with the relationship between the MC and the heroines in each world, there is no need to limit the potential of the MC's ability just so he can use it as a shortcut to get harem members.
lol, I wonder how is he gonna work with summoning sequence, how they gonna replaced saint quartz, oh wait, sigh probably the servant is just going to be mashu.. I just hope the author will write the H scene like Shoujo grand summoning again (before they tone it down)

Maybe, but Wu Yan from MGS excelled at close combat. Not totally sure about the limiting part since this MC is apparently well-versed in magic, he just sucks at close combat in particular. Maybe the author wanted an MC with a different specialty this time around. As for summoning only women, I would generally agree with you there but, since IUD was that dry in terms of harem and heroines participation in the plot, I rather welcome this Familiar powers. It has to do with the Chinese censorship. MGS was even taken down by Qidian because its sexual content. EDIT: By the way, what do you guys think sounds better as a translation for this 奇迹的召唤师? "Miraculous Summoner" or "Summoner of Miracles"?
This new stuff is too slow. I'm going back after a few months, probably already a few hundred chapters by then. And BTW, I disagree with the male summons, not that I hate male companions, they can be friends or something, just, if you want someone to follow you all day round, I personally prefer all females.
On chapter 2400 asuna said something about a janitor i would like to know if kisara cheated on feng yu chen and if he gets together with all the girls he has.
