You're only counting the most recent release. Looking at just the first page (and I think it goes farther back than that), it's 15 chapters in 36-37 days, for an average of 2.4-2.5 days per chapter, so the frequency it shows is accurate.
And I'm talking about NU. The release frequency refers to the actual release frequency of the last 15 chapters, not just the latest batch of releases or an "official" rate. Being able to set it manually would make it 100% meaningless.
I have seen how people do the tagging work. Making release frequency non automated will make it redundant. Release frequency, by definition, is an average. An average doesn't always reflect the reality but it gives you an idea. Yes, the release rate right now is less. But because of the usage of bots, every chapter in a mass release is added individually. Earlier, it was 1 release of 15 chapters in 14 days. Bad frequency. Now, it is 15 chapters in 14 days. Fantastic release rate. The usage of bots cannot be questioned as manual addition is not possible looking at the 100+ releases coming in everyday. So unless you have in mind another algorithm, we can only rant and do nothing.
