To @Tony @OverlyFriendly @runsing Recently, I noticed that Novel Updates is being blocked by Netsweeper. (randomly not every time). It might be an issue with advertisements ? Netsweeper is a web filtering enterprise which is used by ISP's to identify, track, and filter illicit material, while addressing regulatory compliance. Screenshot : (included date and time for authenticity of the screenshot) Note : Almost all the popular ISP's in India make use of Netsweeper. India ranks 2nd with 6.1% of total traffic on Novel Updates according to Alexa. I think you should look into this. Source : http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/novelupdates.com
Use these for next few days : 1) Incognito Mode in Chrome 2) Firefox if facing same prob in Incognito mode ... Report any change later
Hmm .. Just checked what Netsweeper is and I think it might be related to ads detected on NU or adult novel info detected here ...
Recently there is a Wave of redirecting going on on (WW as always) NU and Gravity Use AdBlock (-browser for mobile)
Uh.. so you are using a programm that limits the websites that you can use, but... why would you do that Or is this something that you are FORCED to deal with because your internet provider is using it? By why would your internet provider limit your interner... you pay them and they block sites that you want to visit? That sounds stupid. There should be a way to turn that off try calling your ispn. I mean in the screenshot it says that if you require acess to the site then call your internet provider. Yeah uh thats not what the issue is here...... like not at all.
I know, but as I had been discussing that (what I wrote) with someone else at that time, I just wrote that cause it seemed to be the same issue at first look, before properly reading the OP and seeing that I had already posted it I just left it there... (I also didn´t check the picture sooo) Edit: After once again reading this thread I just noticed: the heck are you talking about? obviously the redirecting ads and other ads can be the issue for this, so wtf mate? as I don´t really know about netsweeper or similar things I proposed to use adblock in case that would solve the issue (btw why do you care about my comment here when nobody else paid it any attention and this happened over a day ago? )
