    But on NU's novel page it says it's harem. So which is it?

    For this Author, as long as the MC isn't falling or have feeling for every girls, then it isn't a Harem, even if multiple girls surrounded him.

    The information on NU are editable by members. As you can see from the previous reply, there are members who think it's harem. So someone sometime ago had tick Harem genre on the page.

    Author notes are not law. They aren't written by the author after he finishes the novel. He can deny it being a harem all he wants in the beginning, but the end will tell us whether or not he's being truthful.

    I guess if the author says its not harem... then only one person would be chosen. I mean, he's rejecting all attempts of love toward him now.

    it's not harem is MC only gets with 1 girl, it doesn't matter how many girls like him. don't be fooled by shitty school "harem" shows that claim to be harem despite the MC only liking 1, maybe 2 of the girls but still ending up with 1.

    And that's technically right as you can only have a harem if you have multiple wifes or concubines. If he never take more than one girl then it shouldn't be a harem.
    But I guess that if we're talking about manga, novel and anime harem, then maybe it's okay to talk about harem here.

    remember, the note was when the author's yet to finish the story (which it has, now). back then, the story was not even 1/3 of completion. the author probably changed his mind later, or worse, he is just trolling. not everything author says is true, you know. prime example, mad snail of TDG >.>

    cough He has a point. There could be many influence during the author's writings and he would have decided to change it into a Harem setting. And well, if the Translator who has already read all of it says so, then it's Harem.
