I haven’t read the whole series, but I got an omnibus edition from my mother’s friend when I was very young. That’s how I was introduced to the series.
Strangely, the omnibus had only three novels: Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Avonlea and Anne’s House of Dreams. For some reason, it seems it just skipped Anne of the Island??
At the time, I didn’t know there was a missing part, so I just read the whole thing~ it was a bit confusing at first, but I managed to grasp what had happened in the seemingly random time skip (Anne reminisces about a lot of things xD)
...So...I read up to Anne’s House of Dreams? I’m thinking of reading Anne of the Island soon, but I’m still contemplating wether to re-read the first two parts...I’ve re-read them several times already, but it’s been a while since the last time~
