Is Law of the Devil worth reading now?

I'm just wondering if I should pick up Law of the Devil again. I stopped after chapter 50ish because It was going way too slow for my taste. So has there been any new worthwhile development?

I dropped that, heard some bad reviews that made it seem like it just wasn't for me.

I'd say not yet.
We're like 1/4 of the way through, and stuff still feels like it's building up without any real conflicts on Du Wei's part. It seems to be the authors "style", but I don't think this will ever be satisfying to read until the end. And even then it will depend on Du Wei screwing everyone over in the end for me to say this was worth reading.

 

I like it and would recommend. Lotd is not too high paced nor does it have a hyperactive killing maniac as a MC. But the world building is great.

The subplots all over the place makes this xianxia a tier above others imo, especially after he goes to the capital. It was thrilling, frustrating, sad, and more conflicts haha.

And yeah, I'd recommend continuing now.
I remember dropping it around 80ish and now I'm waiting for updates for moaar!

 

I agree with @Mufarasu. The story is alright, but slow paced. It would be better to wait more and then marathon through the chapters.

Dropped it around chapter 70, just lost interest. The premise was good, but there was some reason I just wasn't really enjoying it. Don't really remember what it was it's been so long. Just remember it not being that great. Way better novels out there.

 

It continues on a super slow pace.. I dropped it 20 chapters ago but plan on picking t back up when another 100+ chapters are released at least. I liked the story but like you I got sick of the slow paced events, I don't mind a slow pace when there's a lot translated but to wait day after day for a segment of just one part of the arc to happen.. Nahhh I'd rather wait so my advice is, if you liked the story, to keep waiting

 

It quiet good for me .. But yeah this slow novel even till now ..

It's very slow. You should read it again when it has 300+ chapters. I already dropped it because of the weird-ass names and the pace isn't really my type.
