    The problem with "zero to hero" stories is that they are constantly put into an endless cycle of lose/struggle-acquire power-win, everytime they meet a new villain even though that villain is weaker than the previous villain the MC has faced. I've read too many manga that uses this cycle thinking that it's great and interesting which is not if you actually the cycle (struggle/lose - acquire power/gain new power - win). It's quite becoming tedious reading different manga with the same cycle which is why I prefer OP MCs from the start. OP MCs have an interesting story direction which I prefer more than the "zero to hero" mc. But hey, if you like those types of manga, good for you.

    I don't want this kind of hero (This one doesn't entirely fit with the mood of the rest: it's more of a comedic to dark story but I'm still putting it here cause the MC is OP and its seriously underrated)
