[Heya, everyone!

I have some great news to share with you! I launched a Kickstarter campaign for the book version of "Who Cares About an Isekai? Surely Not Me!".

Isekai Ran will be our, WordExcerpt, first published original novel. Backers will be rewarded with Ebooks, signed books, and advanced look to the animated trailer.

Why the name changes?

 

Don't you change the name of the novel? From Who Cares About an Isekai? Surely Not Me! to Isekai Ran.

Or my reading comprehension has taken another blow?

 

I changed the name for several reasons:
- Easier to translate
- Isekai Ran became the name of the series of books
- I'm taken more seriously when I pitch the animated serie

I started on ScribbleHub and RoyalRoad then moved to WordExcerpt

 

Congratulations. Authors are a lot more important than people give them credit for.

Creating an entire world for people to escape to can save lives. It's great for one's mental health.

I want to do more for authors, I was actually planning a similar recruitment drive that Creative Novels and WordExcept did but I had to give up.
I am a realistic idealistic, I haven't been able to successfully build the platform I had in my mind for authors to earn money consistently.

If english isn't your main language, I know that there aren't many platforms like that in other languages.

 

Platform as in a system that pays authors.

 

I know. Like I said, there are no such thing in other countries for wb authors

 

Korea has munpia.com, joara, ridibooks etc

Japan has Alphapolis

China has Qidian, Zongheng, 17k and a host of others

English technically has tapas.io

I haven't read the OG version, but i have high hopes for the published version
