Release that Witch is a chinese webnovel that might be what you're looking for. Guy gets reincarnated as the black sheep of a royal family and rises to power by starting what is basically a witch-fueled industrial revolution. No "cheats" of his own, but he becomes an ally to persecuted witches and uses their witches' powers as shortcuts for tasks like smelting certain alloys, carving rifiling, long distance communication, waterproofing pipes and creating facilitating chemical reactions. There are a few combat witches that have their fair share of sweet fights, though. A large part of it is turning peasant militias and feudal knights into an army with modern military structure and firearms and using them against demonic creatures, enemy kingdoms and a church with superhuman warriors at their disposal. It can spend entire chapters on technical details of how they get stuff to work, which can be really interesting or a bit of a turn off, depending on the reader. I'd at least give it a shot, though.

Oh yea, there was that 'Gate – Jietai Kare no Chi nite, Kaku Tatakeri' shit. It has good ratings I guess and is completed with completed translations and stuff but I didn't particularly like it...maybe it was because it was a harem, or because modern tech was too over powered in it that it wasn't as intense as I'd hoped it'd be. Well, not a isekai but 'Altina the Sword Princess' has really clever military battles in a medieval Europe setting. It's kinda like Youjo Senki but it has less of that complicated military stuff but focuses more on strategically outsmarting each other during battles, but both are hinted to be tackling the first world war and both are fighting in the shoes of a fictional germany of that time, that makes it so interesting cause historically, they both should fail. It's not isekai cause nobody reincarnates here, every character in it was born in that world. And no magic either, but the battles are fun to watch because of the main character's strategies.
Oh, than maybe I'll check it out. The MC was really bland so it was not really interesting to watch him.
