It is machine translation. So, not everyone reads it. Only few people who aren't used to waiting delves in that realm....
And btw most of those people re-reads human translation, if they really like that novel.
So, you should continue to translate your project unless you are dropping it because of the story.

 

The translation is awful imo. But I've been told that my level isn't good either so take it with a grain of salt.
It makes me want to drop my translations since they're being shameless enough to post it. If readers want to go to the original link for themselves, I think it's fine. It's a good thing to raise the pageviews of the author. The one thing I'm most irritated about is that they came to lure me to post on their site nobles.jp but I turned it down and now they're just posting the MTL.

Naaaah, calling it illegal is too much. We're all in a big gray zone here. It's just unedited MTL after all, so it won't be listed on NU.
The bots directly poaching my blog are the big evil but there isn't much to do about that either. I know I can only count on my own will so yeah...while it does disappoint me, I want to remember that I started to translate it because I like it.

 

Are their site publish your name on it??

I believe you haven't read machine translation before. It is pure machine translation don't expect much. It is only for those people who can read MTL..
And I'm an old user of lnmtl and comrademao. So, my standards for MTL are pretty good....

 

That site is pure machine translation site. Have you ever heard about lnmtl and comrademao? It is like that.

- If site, its okay. Its good site. Can be used as alternative to read the novel which TL not translate it.
- if @Snowbun experience, then thats what will he/she have to deal. Because not every mtl pure from the machine and just copy paste it. If mtl has the TL touch, isnt that we ignore their work.

 

Well... for one, having higher standards than those two other sites still doesn't make it that high.
If we're talking about pure MTL, the DeepL Translator outputs way better and more accurate text than whatever is being used by that web you posted.

I find it being pretty much the same as google translate. I went and check a novel I've google translate myself and they're pretty much the same.
