Just got novel sites banned from school

So everyday I'm at school i read the updates that came while I slept.
In the end most novel sites got banned (excluded? no idea what the right word is) from the school network.
So guess from now on i have to use my limited 3G :/

If back when i was in my school kid's read novels during lessons or w/e , teachers etc would've been so happy.
most people in my school used computers to play runescape or just play other flash games.
During other lessons only thing you saw students reading was SMS

Same it happened to my school only wuxiaworld and like one other site is still going strong!! We shall make our last stand or else without it I am doomed for eternity!!

You can get around their ffirewalls. I downloaded tor onto the general server for the school once

 

No. But you could just use a proxy server or some app to avoid it

 

Also have to agree with other people here though, my school would have been estatic that we read something. We mostly just played quake, cs or if you wanted to solo half life.

My school also blocked it. Like yesterday as well. But on our iPad's they also made us download this app that doesn't get blocked by any firewall. Except it tends to crash a lot.

 

I remember in history class , i never fallowed what class did i just skimmed through book to find interesting articles to read myself.
My school wasn't really "Good" to say so as long as people wasn't disturbing other people you wouldn't get to much trouble
only bad grades
But i was lucky i had cool history teacher , so i could get passable mark if i answered some of her questions

i wasn't so lucky on other subjects

I never really use a proxy at our school since nothing was ever blocked, but last April my school blocked most of the sites I used to read books on. Since our school has a really loose block, the only things that were blocked were porn. When I found out my sites were blocked, and spent a couple minutes trying to find a site that wasn't blocked, a lot of kids saw my bright red "Blocked" screen and gave me weird looks.

Yessss, last I checked a few years ago, I was level 112 back when the cap was 126 or something.
