it's not exactly what you're looking for but Fields of Gold. the protag transmigrates in to an empire where the current emperor, and his grandfather the previous previous emperor, are both transmigrators. both the protag and the current emperor improve different things and the emperors set the trend of innovation so while people are amazed, it's within reason and not "OMG super genius best in the world"

The mc tries to gradualy improve technology standards which weren't too low thanks to previous "transmigrators". The previous visitors did some even more amazing stuff but its more related to biology, while the mc has better mechanical knowledge.
