    Chinese novels, more so Cultivator ones like this, tend to have a bad habit of the MC suddenly finding themselves with a Harem after 1000+ Chapters.

    Is this one the same? Or does it keep away from that?

    No its not. Although alot of girls want him, he only actually gets into a relationship with one.

    Trust me, for most of the novel he doesnt even pay attention to the girls as girls.
    heck they are rarely even mentioned once their arc is over. the first teacher chick who got developed and looked like a main interest? she literally wont ever show up again.
    when romance does happen, its sudden. literally a girl he just met he fell for. and only her and she with him.

    Usually if a chinese novel doesn't have a harem tag girls will still flood MC, it's just that he won't care about them

    It's a monogamy
    but at the end, there's a side story where Luo Ruoxin implicitly indicates that she's willing to accept Luo Qiqi though there's no continuation or hints of Zhang Xuan liking Luo Qiqi.
