There is a potential love interest. Her name is Luo Ruoxi, a descendant of sage family and a 6 star Master Teacher. On first sight, ZX had a heart movement and a similar feeling on their second meet. Unless that heart movement is blood related, it should be a love interest. Not to mention her temperament fits that of a female lead.

Nope, not a chance.

 

He had tens of thousands of psyche and soul cultivation methods but didn't compile Heaven's Path Psyche Art or Heaven's Path Soul Art? This is going to be a thing now isn't it; every time he hits an actual problem he'll already have the solution, but not have bothered practicing it.

Also, why did he name the flawless Soul Guiding Formula as Heaven's Path Soul Art instead of either Heaven's Path Soul Guiding Art, Heaven's Path Soul Oracle Art or Heaven's Path Soul Foundation Art?

 

He had a bunch of soul related works, but they were not cultivation methods. They were more like supplementary works and it required the soul cultivation method as a base. I think of it like having a bunch of car care manuals and expecting to put them together to have the designs for a car. They might help figure out things about what a good car design includes, but they are not sufficient by themselves. Also even if the books he had were sufficient to form a cultivation method by them self, it is not exact obvious that they can be done. I guess it can be said that he should have thought about consolidating his soul knowledge since he was trying to help his student fix his soul, but he still does not know exactly how to use the library and tends to make a lot of mistakes with it.

So I would be very surprised if he would be able to get rid of it this soon.
But I do get your logic though, if he transfer his soul to the flower and creates a new body, he could leave the poison in his old body right?
