Locked/"Paid" Chapters

    Qidian has a novel called "Library of Heaven's Path" and even though there are 25 or so chapters that are "locked" (they can be opened with free points), the chapters aren't being reflected on novel updates. Could you include those chapters with the little lock symbol to show that they require points? Otherwise, it's hard to track what I've read in my reading list. Thankyou.

    EDIT: I've tried to add the missing chapters through the "add Releases" function on the profile, but they're not added.

    Its against NU policy.This is different from Ad-walled chapters since you have to pay "spirit stones" to unlock them

    and what those who atm have no spirit stone?
    not all who read qidian novel interested become webnovel member although still read it on qidian site

    I'm pretty sure this has been answered on multiple occasions, if you would just use the search function. Anyway, here was my reply and it answers the same question eventhough it's different novels.

    It counts as a chapter that’s locked behind a password. Multiple sites don’t get chapters linked for this reason. (In addition to the other states reasons)

    I guess you do have to be logged in, even though there are many ways to get spirit stones for free. =/

    that sucks, but thank you guys for letting me know!

    2. Doesn’t really matter since 1, but another update says that bonus SS have a month long expiry. This is at least the ‘free’ ones gained by commenting and the like. The ones gained by watching ads may or may not have this restriction, but most sites with this setup limit the number of times you can watch the ads to unlock something.

    Yeah, sorry about that. Unlockable adwalled chapters are visible whereas users normally won’t see chapters blocked for being behind a password. I can see where the confusion comes from.

    Seriously? There's many other threads you can use to discuss this and you decide the Suggestion subforum is the right place for the drama?
