I had thorns on my first 10 pull on his banner and that's the luckiest I've been in my pulls

 

i generally only pull on event banners now and only banners with Ops im interested in. usually i pull the Ops in 10-20 pulls.. with perhaps the only exception that comes to mind was Nian banner. i pulled more there because she was a 'this banner ONLY' operator.

 

I wasn't around yet during the Nian banner, W banner was my first limited operator event and I blew everything for nothing(about 60+ pulls at that time).
Admittedly, I always rolled for every new banner just for that shiny guaranteed 5 star, now I know I shouldn't have...

Now I only roll for event banners after the W banner, I could probably go for 50+ pulls with everything I saved up, 70+ if I exchange tokens for HH permits.

 

save your gold certs. they are valuable as fuck when the right 6* ops appear in the cert shop

Play gran blue fantasy. You can play it on browser and it's probably the most f2p gacha there is. They tend to give out free units that are good and they have 2-3 big events each year wher you get a lot of free goods and rolls.

Other recommendations would be dragalia lost, guardian tales, and princess connect.

 

Yeah, you're right, just have to wait for the right ones.
Thankfully I got Surtr on just 20 pulls
