FrustratedEgo's works on RRL are about middle aged men. They are fictions rather than translated novels or fictions though. There is Continue Online which is or was when I lost track of it a VRMMORPG type story. It has quite possibly my favourite arc in any VRMMORPG thus far but it's very slow paced. The other one is Royal Scales which is ... I'm not entirely sure. It had Vampires, and Werewolves and ... other things and the mc may or may not have been a little crazy. He was also something of a fixer. Also slow paced. Reason I stopped reading was time between releases but I still see them get updated every so often and they are, I think, if I recall correctly, around 4-6k words a chapter.
Seconding Invincible Saint ~Salaryman, the Path I Walk to Survive in This Other World~ and King's Avatar, though I'm pretty sure both MC's are in their late 20s. http://www.novelupdates.com/series/reincarnator/ MC is 80ish if I remember correctly and much more mature than the majority of MCs that I've seen. Honestly, King's Avatar's is probably the closest.
