I am looking for a novel like solo levelling. I have read some other novels like- Seoul Station Necromancer Everyone Else is a Returnee The King of the Battlefield Sovereign of Judgment I Alone Level Up Dungeon Seeker Is this Hero for real FFF Class Trashhero Bug Player Is this Hunter for real I grow stronger by eating How to live as a villain Sleeping Ranker Leveling With The Gods This is the Law Trapped in a Webnovel as a Good for Nothing Archmage Streamer Ranker Who Lives A Second Time Your Talent is Mine I Log In Alone Kill The Hero I don't like the types of: Worthless Regression Return Survival Talent-Swallowing Magician The S-Classes That I Raised The Novel’s Extra [ worst novel imo ] Regressor Instruction Manual [ 2nd worst imo ] Ignore this ranting if you wish: I have a very weird taste. I like all kinds of things, but I can't read if mc is too passive or too simp. Or the story is full of cliche. Some mc just run behind a girl's skirt, I hate those kinds. Or mc is a weak person, and decided to stay that way and lick the original protagonist and never grow up in life, doesn't matter how calculative he is. If in the whole novel he is just a weak person compared to others and the plot, then I don't wish to read it. for example- Regressor Instruction Manual And novels like Novel extra seem interesting, but the ending is such a blood loss. if I was a cultivator, I would have coughed some blood at that moment. - mc choose love instead of power, and become a common man, everyone forgets him and his deed. Like WTF And even still then, he was weaker than others, even having such a strong cheat I am not debating, like why he can't grow or other reasons and problems What I am saying is that one time was enough. Now I no longer wish to read such a passive mc. feels like masochism to me Ignore my words, it's just that after reading such a novel. It feels like the worst day of my life tbh. IDK why I actually read that, instead of dropping it earlier. And no BL pls.
The Author's POV - the first 30 or so chapters are quite boring and bland (also very similar to TNE) with all the info dumps, but the story becomes better after that.
Both of these are fairly popular and have Manhwa adaptations, so you might already know about them Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint SSS-Class Suicide Hunter(This one has romance, and I'm trying to decide if it could be classified as him being a simp)
https://www.webnovel.com/book/the-rise-of-a-porter_17460195006101205 Rise of a porter is basically the closes thing to solo-leveling you could get. It's quite good too, a bit longer tho. Some people even claim that it's a copy of Solo Leveling, but although there are a lot of similarities and it reads in a similar way, it's quite fresh. You could say it's heavily inspired by Solo Leveling, but not to a point of being a blatant copy.
