I am looking for Chinese novels where the protagonist befriends people from other countries, such as Japan and USA etc.

Ideally, foreign countries do not get slammed and the character treats his foreign friends as equals.

What's that quote from the Karate Kid movie again? Different but same. Something like that.

Colossus Hunter , though it isnt really touched upon, but one of the potential love interests is Russian, and there is no mention of discrimination about foreign stereotypes, but is more concentrated on the otherworld issues, at least in the chapters so far, so it doesnt really make a compelling case.

Every other novel i know mostly has an homogeneous culture with no other countries, not even a different language across galaxies >.>, though i know one that goes really heavy on making fun of foreign countries that represent japan and westerners (while the mc country is china based)

I think there are some exceptions. For example, Battle Frenzy.

In the novel, the main guy is probably an ethnic Chinese (even though China no longer exists) and he's friends with this African monk dude and a blonde warrior from some Amazon tribe?

And then plenty of the supporting cast have English names. Laura Potter for one. And Scarlet Green for another. And Caroline Stuart.

They are all treated as his equals. Or at least, the main guy treats them like real friends and not subordinates.

indeed, chinese novels tend to be a bit xenophobic.

koreans aren’t that better but they tend to have a less evident behavior (normally except with japan, but they have their historical reasons for that).

I'm just pointing out that OP asked for chinese novels;)

Edit: to contribute to the thread - Dark Blood Age
Has interaction between people of different countries without xenophobic motives.
At some point is allied in a way with a black dude.
Story itself is pretty tragic but interesting enough to compensate.

It's not bashing like "you are from [insert country name] so f*ck u" and there's a cross country friendship, so the title are according to OP requirements.

By Gate, are you referring to the JSDF isekai novel? That's Japanese though.
