In a sense both options to me are difficult. On one sense i don't care about romantic love, so not relevant to me. Then immortality is actually painful because the people who you care about throughout the years will leave and you will see them die, and really humanity never changes, so you continue witnessing the cycle of destruction. Now if the option is just regular love (friendship, family) then i pick love, but if it is romantic love, then i pick immortality and make new friends each century.
Love. Living forever would be a nightmare, im already done with life as it is. Plus I need someone to love me.

Anytime, if choosing immortality can relieve me out of the burden or misery, you mortals called love.... it would better if most of the emotion can be eradicated along with it

Saw thread title - didn't even bother with reading OP's 1st post of a premise. Easy answer: Immortality! Love is overrated and dealing with another human being is a pain in the ass in the long run! I'd rather live forever and love an infinite amount of partners than waste a short amount of time on one useless shit bag that I, and to be fair they're probably in the same boat here, settled on because I felt the pressure of time closing in on me.
If we are just talking about romantic love then it is a easy choice for me as I have no desire for a lover. A bit trickier if platonic love is included as well though or if it is a really painful or inconvenient form of immortality.
But the trick here is either you pick living forever and will never find true love again, or you pick your true love and live a short life

only by two points tho, not that finding true love is a foolish thing just that I can't grasp what constitutes as true love. perhaps it's human nature to trust what's more concrete, in this case it's immortality

Well you have eternity to get over it . Why would you be tortured and treated as cattle? You plan to announce to the world that you're an immortal ? Besides, even if you do, you will outlast all your captors. Legends and memories fade, but you are eternal.
