Erm... I'm late. Well I'll just post my wall of text, let it be for more infos. Spoiler: First Life/Lucia's dream If you have read the first few chapters if I remember correctly, Lucia dreams of her life after being married to Count Matin where she was mistreated, then when Count Matin was accused of crime the whole family got exterminated. Fortunately, Lucia hides in a secret place on Count Matin's house. Then after a whole month of staying there she goes out and lived her life as Lucy. Lucy is the daughter of an old woman who had gone senile and she assumed Lucia is her daughter. After the old woman died, Lucia tries to work as a maid. Her madam is Katherine, her half-sister. In her time as a maid, Katherine greatly favors her causing jealousy on the other maids. By the time Lucia saved enough money, she resigned. On the night before she leaves, Katherine called her and tells a story about her half-sister which is Lucia herself. Katherine narrated that when Lucia was looking for work she accepted her even without recommendation letter cause she looks like that child she had seen on the party which is her half sister. She regretted not knowing and talking to that child, cause the last she have heard about her half sister she died as Countess Matin. After leaving the maid position, she worked on armoury(?) And after sometime she opened a business like the armoury. She meet some knight, she thought they were in love but the knight only scammed her of her profit on the whole armoury. Then she seclude herself to some countryside. On a side story, Duke Hugo visits that countryside but hides his identity he stays at her place and well Hugo stays there for a long time. Lucia knew it was Hugo. And Hugo knew that Lucia knows that he is Duke Taran plus he remembers her during the extermination of Count Matin cause he is the one who exterminated the whole family but he spared Lucia because of her tenacity on staying on the hidden place for a whole month. Hugo, even left his Taran brooch so Lucia can start anew. He even reported to the kingdom that the whole family were exterminated but he spared Lucia and get another corpse with the same body size as Lucia. Lucia felt some attraction to Hugo but she tried to stop her feelings knowing he had a wife and son but in that timeline, I think he was divorced with his wife and Damian died. Edit: I so so so recommend you to read the whole novel for complete details. Well only if you are above 18+ that is. Because the novel contains too much detail . For example in the webtoon, Lucia knew who really is the leader of the knights that would escort her without them telling her because it was the unspoken rules of the knights that the strongest one is the captain/leader not based on seniority. The novel explained it, that Lucia worked in an armoury that is why she knew the unspoken rule and the reason why she was not intimidated with their towering height because in her first life she knew they were gentle. Or when Lucia asked Jerome about rotating her maids. It was explained in the novel that if she only favors one, there is a high chance that the favored maid will be isolated much like her experience as a maid in her first life.
Her mother died because of sickness that is why her mother write letter to her father to acknowledge her as his daughter so she can have a good life as a princess The grandpa dotes on Lucia's mom however Lucia's mom run away because she was sick of them doing everything they can to save the family's name. And well she never comes back. Lucia met her grandpa on a party when she became Duchess Taran. The grandpa saw some shadows of his daughter so he wanted to introduce his self and asked if Lucia knew his daughter. At first, Lucia hesitated but decided to meet her grandpa. After some conversation about Lucia's mom they bond and get along. However, the grandpa did not introduce Lucia to her uncles cause he fear that they'll beg Lucia to save the family. On her dream/first life, she did not meet her grandpa because he died. What she meet when she was Countess Matin is her Uncle, I think it was the second one. They met on an auction where the pendant was. Because Lucia's mom pawned it that time. When Lucia won the auction for the pendant her uncle offer to pay large amount of money just to retrieve the family heirloom so Lucia knew that it was her maternal relative. Lucia thought that she had someone to lean on but that did not happen cause the uncle pleaded Lucia to save her maternal family's dwindling family name by using her power as a Countess. Unfortunately, she did not have such power so the uncle directly goes to Count Matin for help. Long story short, when Count Matin's family exterminated, the uncle was also involved. On her first life, the mom pawned the pendant. On her second life, after her mother died and she was dragged into the palace to be a princess, she was holding the pendant. She had smeared some of her blood into the pendant that is why it activates its power so I think the first life is only a dream of what will happen if she had chosen to stay in the palace. But along the story in the novel, things started to split during her childhood. On her first life, she had a scar in her leg from falling from the tree. Edit: Her playmate also died when she had fallen on that tree. But in this timeline, she did not have any scar and the playmate that died from falling from the tree is alive. And the tree which is standing still in the 1st timeline has been struck by lightning leaving no remains at all in the 2nd timeline.
Spoiler: First timeline summary On the first timeline, MC was brought to the palace when she was 12 yrs old after her mother's death. The maids didn’t pay attention to her in the palace coz she's a commoner. So when she got her first menstruation and doesn't know what to do or who to ask to, she ate some herbs called "mugwort" that causes her to stop menstruating. When she turned 19/20 yrs old, the king died, and her brother, the crown prince, became the next king. His brother married(actually sold) her off to Count Matin. She became the third wife of the Count. The count was divorced by his previous wives and has three sons. The Count abused her but he was impotent (something happened to him during his younger years that causes him to become impotent) so he got more violent with her. She became close to the third son of the Count. His name is Bruno. The kid showed him some secret room and passage in the house and told her that only the two of them knows that secret. After that, she started hiding some jewelries and dried foods for her escape. The Count was accused of rebellion so his family were ordered to be killed. She was able to escape and stayed in the secret room. Duke Taran was the one who was ordered to kill the Count's family. He also discovered that Lucia was hiding in the secret room but let her go(she didn't know this coz she was asleep) since she was infertile and has the will to live. She was scared to come out so she stayed there for 1 month that's why her hair turned white. She came out after a month and lived with an old lady and became the replacement for her lost daughter. After sometime, the Duke remembered her and went back to the secret room but didn't find her and left his brooch together with Lucia's hidden treasures. When the old lady died, Lucia went back and took her hidden treasures to start a new life and dyed her hair black. She owned an armory shop, fell in love with a handsome knight, but got swindled with her money instead. Later she applied to become a maid of one of her step-sisters, Princess Kate, and got favoured by her, so she suffered bullying by the other maids. In her retirement she bought a house in a rural area, met Doctor Philip(Taran's fam doc), got cured her infertility. Meanwhile, Damien graduated, become a successor, went to the northern border but got killed by the barbarians. The Duke revenged for his death that led to a continental war. In his wandering, he accidentally went to Lucia's house, recognized her because of his brooch and they lived together.

without any spoilers, is the webtoon near the end now? I want to read it but if it's too early I would rather not. The novel seems rather short, so I thought maybe now is a good time to check it out.
In my opinion, too far from the end.... The webtoon is not even in the climax stage, unless the artist decided to change something along the way.
