Hello I am looking for a novel where the MC has high luck stats. not just the MC is lucky, but luck is a stat that is effected in the story like in The Novel's Extra thx
luck is just a justification for plotarmour in novels only novels with stats that are shown or any novel with overly enhanced plot armour? or perhaps something more like karmic merit in Desolate Era, which is also in a way luck
Wow now that u put it this way... Its quite hard to find one... I was thinking like royal roads everybody loves large chest. But true though they almost always justify plot armour with high luck... Some novels even mock it with occasional mocking of their high luck that got them in lucky situations .
Luck stat. Every MC in xianxia. E.g.. Meng hao doesn't get lucky he gets the best possible reward in every situation.
Shura's Wrath has it IIRC. But like @DiabolicGod said it's basically just justification for plot armor, and this one has a lot.
Konosuba is a must. Also for the opposite, The Experimental Log of the Crazy Lich The MC is so unfortunate he developed God of Misfortune Aura that will drag down his surrounding's Luck stat with the enemy as priority. But if he's alone and no 'scape-goat'... hehehe.
100 Luck and the Dragon Tamer Skill. MC, and numerous other people, get transported from a doomed Earth to a planet that works on a RPG System, and get a few cheats in order to allow them to effectively affect the world around themselves. The first thing they get is the ability to distribute 100 stat points however they want, and the MC distributes all of his, until the cap, to Luck. This story does utilize Luck as an active cheat that allows the MC to do things that should be impossible. However, it also, eventually, points out that luck has it's limits, and relying purely on Luck is not going to allow one to succeed.
To be honest, the luck power in The Strongest Gene is not really a "stat", it's a resource the MC expends to do reality-warping shenanigans. Like, create a virtual grid of coordinates, spend "luck points", and then point at a random square, which "luckily" just happens to show the coordinates of the people he is looking for. As for the OP, really any long-running Xianxia is like that. Luck, destiny, fate and karma are all liberally used to justify plot-conveniences and the MCs repeatedly stumbling upon unique relics that are just right for their cultivation, or find pocket-spaces of ages-old experts to plunder... hell, some authors *coughIETcough* abuse this so much that their protagonist often end up with entire arsenals of legendary powers and one-of-a-kind special weapons that they never ever get to use, because in just a couple dozen chapters they are going to find something better anyway.
https://www.novelupdates.com/series/makikomarete-isekai-teni-suru-yatsu-wa/ In ch 4 it describes a general rule for what each stat range of Luck would mean, with a normal person being 11-25, 300 being conquering the worlds on luck alone, and the MC has 500
