It's so weird, of the two novels, memorize is much more interesting but basically nobody other than some MTLrs ever picked it up. When there finally was some seemingly pretty good TL for the novel (which surprisingly came from Flying Lines lol), the first chapter she translated just had to be the very first 18+ chapter and ofc she just had to drop it... Novel is way better than second coming, but it's cursed to never get a proper translation...
I've asked around and something about the quality of the novel dropping in the second half. Whoever has brushed ahead and read the novel seemed dissatisfied to the point of not wanting to translate the novel which lead to our current situation now. Sadly I wanted spoilers to the storyline if that was the case but I can't find anyone at the current time to give me an overview on the good, the bad and the ugly parts of the novel.

Too big an investment, I did a teaser, got so much insults that I rather stay away from this novel but then again, the insults might just spur me to prove them wrong haha

And has the potential to be popular on its own 2 legs. People often state how SCoG is the superior and better novel, but that is not necessarily the case. Memorize, according to Joara, is actually more popular than SCoG, more popular by 7 times in fact. They probably picked them up out of contractual obligation. They wanted to license SCoG which is tied to Breathe company. And Breathe Company probably wants them to translate "those" novels as well.
