Resolved Machine translation is not working/can't read chapters

    I'm currently reading The Star Light Shines When He Came through MTLing it. I successfully read about 5 to 6 arcs, but now, every single site I switch to shows the same chapter again and again. It's a chapter from the first arc, but I keep seeing it whenever I try to read any chapter (no matter how far ahead it is). I don't understand what's going on, could someone tell me? How do I solve this? :blob_pout:

    Also, just to see if it works, I made an account on one of the raw sites as well, but it didn't help. I still see the same chapter. Switching the browser didn't help either! First chrome, then Windows Edge, and then firefox (after downloading that). :sweating_profusely: Please help, I want to read it. :blobconfounded:

    Edit: Incognito mode didn't work, clearing the cache didn't work, switching my Google Account didn't work either. I shall give up. For now. :blobdead:

    Edit 2:     SOLUTION As I suspected, it was an anti-theft measure. To resolve it, you'll either have to buy the novel (I'm broke QAQ), or read the whole thread (for up to 10 replies), and you'll come across the solution! It's a website where you can read for free! I'm not linking it here b/c I don't want all the replies to go to waste. I'm grateful, ya know? :blobxd:

    So your brain finally broke ha? Yeah, that is normal. Your brain has suffered corruption due to MTL and you got something equivalent to stuck pixels where all chapters look like previous chapter as your brain is unable to register the changes anymore.

    RIP, you shall be missed.

    It for anti-theft chapter, the original poster doesn't want people to stole it.

    Yeah, it does say "anti-theft" at the beginning but after that, the chapter continues. I also thought that it was to prevent theft but on every single site? So I concluded that a word was translated incorrectly. You might be right, though.

    So will clearing cache work? I can try switching my google account as well. Thanks! I'll try those!

    It is definitely anti-theft measures. Basically, all the pirate websites end up copying the anti-theft chapters (which is always chapter 1 of the novel). You can either give up on the novel, go buy the legit chapters, or wait for the novel the finish and for a pirate site to update to the correct chapters.

    Err. The whole chapter?

    I checked a few out and I see some sort of anti-theft message at the top of the later chapters, but following it they seem to be normal chapters. So... It's not that you just glanced at it and thought it was the same chapter without reading a bit more, right?

    Asking just in case.
