The OP MC genre is asked of a lot but I find that it usually comes paired with a harem. I'm hoping someone could recommend me some manga with an OP MC (preferably male) with no prevalent romance or harems. Here is some manga I've read recently that I enjoyed. Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi Isekai Yururu Kikou LVL999 no Murabito Tensei Shitara Suraimu Datta Ken My list isn't that developed yet but hopefully it can give you an idea of what I'm looking for! Also just for the record, I have seen/read OMP, and that is also a great manga! Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
The thing you gotta realize about op MC stories is that all the conflict and story comes from other characters. If the MC had his own problems to deal with it wouldn't be considered part of the genre. It's inevitable that in order for the plot to exist, the author has to add characters so that the MC can get involved in their problems. To also get the readers invested in those problems the easiest way is to make the character a cute girl. And at that point, the only simple way to keep them around in the story is to add a generic romance sub-plot.
Noblesse Solo Leveling Dungeon Seeker Fukushuu O Koinegau Saikyou Yuusha Wa, Yami No Chikara De Senmetsu Musou Suru
I'm not saying I don't understand why a lot of OP MC manga of have romance, I just wanted a break from it. I do enjoy a lot of OP MC manga that have romance, but since I had found some that don't involve romance, I was interested to find more. I thank you for your insight though, it does make a lot of sense when you put it like that.

I shall introduce you to a classic, Pokemon Adventures. Considering that the main characters of early Pokemon games are teenagers, and that they somehow beat the strongest trainers in the region, I would say that they qualify as OP MC. Also, I don't remember any of the characters having a harem, if I remember correctly. At least, not for the first 38 or so volumes since I have them. Romance, on the other hand, exists in the Ruby/Sapphire arc, though I remember liking it, but that might be nostalgia speaking.
