Why is everyone acting like they've already lost? The last enemy up took two Tremor Punches and a Frost Force. As long as Sun Jian didn't waste time and went up immediately, he'd have pretty good shot at winning. Sure, that'd just delay the issue by pushing it off to the substitute battle, but there'd still be a minuscule chance at victory.

It's a martial arts novel after all. Getting a trump card that can beat 8th pins, fighting a 8th pin and not using that trump card would have been more OOC. Also, MC beat him earlier so he had reason to be confident.

Not really. It's been fairly level-headed and put real thought into all of his fights prior to this. He'd also acknowledged how difficult the technique would be to use in a practical setting it its then current form. I could absolutely see him trying it if the situation presented itself, or if he could think of a truly viable plan for making it happen, but trying to force, regardless of circumstances, wasn't really like him.

when will this coach yan stuff end and coach shi begin? im tired of this overly romantic stuff let the the wise old man drop some knowledge how is a background character the only time he shows up is to give mc technique and be shock how fast he is progressing.

He's fusing it, somehow, pretty sure he made yin yang(fire and ice) for his breakthrough in Danqi, i can see OPness in the long run, but theres no one that fuse it, like him. So.. There's no reference, he' manages somehow, with life coach yan guidance.

This is MTL, it is clear to see in this chapter. But at least edit it enough to conceal it!

 

Translation/editing is not that good. Minor mistake (ranking become raking), failure to translate martial art term (Dan, Gang, Munekado), inconsistency in translating org term (sometime translated : Ice God Sect, sometime not translated : Longhu) , sometime fail to give background explanation on martial or cultivation (Restriction), sometime name also misplaced in dialogue.

 

Can I ask something regarding the latest chapter? Im just a little confused about what Lou Cheng said in the last part of the chapter. He said since they defeated Shanbei, there is nothing to worry about, and the other teams will be weaker than them so they can be champions. BUT didnt they lose? I dont get it...

The translation was indeed pretty rough recently, but looking at the recent chapters again I think they have finished re-editing them. They said the hiatus would be "about two weeks", so hopefully they will start new chapters again soon. I would be sad if they dropped the novel. It isn't anything profound, but it makes me smile.
