I noticed this novel usually tops WW rankings although a lot of people have a low opinion of it. I stopped reading when he raised that (spear was it?) and became leader of the half-moon sect or whatever it is called. That was a very long time ago. Is it worth picking back up? There are like 2000 more chapters to read now but is it interesting?
Do not go on the path of repetition, stay clear of it. It is extremely repetitive even for a Chinese Novel, like each arc is a repeat of the same formula.
Try it, if you like what's going on where you stopped at, keep reading, it'll be the same till the end. Arrogant young masters, TRASH etc.But if you like that, that's fine it won't disappoint you
Martial God Asura is a popcorn novel. It's not meant to inspire you, to enlighten you, or to confound you with mysteries. No, it's meant to fucking entertain you. And that's it. Don't pick it back up expecting anything other than trashy entertainment, and you're gold. I read it, and I recommend it -- on the condition that you know exactly what it is and you're okay with that; which is, apparently, none of the people who replied to this thread. Except maybe @reanox. .... I stopped to stack chapters at 2154 and I don't regret a moment of it up to that point. I'll continue reading it -- probably now, actually. Fuck it, this thread has reminded me it exists and I've got nothin' better to do today. So there.
still entertaining for me Journey to become the most powerful man in the world, cleansing his father's name in chu heavenly clan
If you want something to binge read and don't mind way too repetitive things then go ahead and read it.
No. I dropped it at chapter 1250 and I don't regret it since from what I heard it just gets progressively worse and CF gets progressively more spineless towards 3000s, and there are endless filler/pointless dragged out arcs. Also, the author starts to have a hard-on for CF's dad. Spoiler
