Yeah, no sect slaughters, no rape, keeps helping people out, being extremely respectful to seniors etc. 'Just friends' with women he meets that are supposed to look like goddesses. It's like they complained about the novel and he catered to the readers and neudered CF.
Is someone really want to read this novel? I remember that I have seen message from bee that about 80% readers read this novel on "pirate" sites
K "Just friends" from MC's side and lately he reject new hot girls with his catchphrase: "I already have three girlfriends" I mean, what the heck are you, a gay or what? You see your "so-called-girlfriend(s)-and-not-wives once every several hundred chapters (sorry for repeating myself).

The rape was distateful (although i'm not having any issues with it as it's not graphical) BUT it did showcase how he holds grudges, and it was more than just about face or people fighting for no good reasons. He gets tortured and there's this massive grudge between him and the character, so he gets even in little ways until he can whipe them all out. It just felt like he was getting even. Now it's just hmph i'll just power-up and beat you! all DBZ status up in here.
i've a feeling this girl's personality and the horrible ploty way this thing's going is gonna be the final straw that gets me to drop this. frankly, i'm somewhat hopeful and relieved.
Now we have seen that CF is partly schizophrène because you can't make me believe the cool and calm CF who is respectful to is elder is the same CF who had a long past of exterminating sect, raping girl and and being a bastard with the elder
I advise you, please stop reading this novel after 970 or so chapter. This is so bad. Unstoppable story repeating. Gdmnt, author is insane.
I stopped reading about the same point as you (prob because that's all there were at the time). But I am intrigued by the number of chapters. There's gotta be some good stuff in there, no?
There is, but it's densely packed in other stuff and just cloned previous happenings. Imagine DBZ, where there's a new invader and then you have 50 filler eps and maybe a cool fight scene after.
I get you. I didn't watch DBZ but what you say is similar to Naruto when they caught up with the manga they would add 20 filler episodes before returning to the canon content. Completely throwaway.
If the entire story were compacted down to like 4 or 5 cultivation realms, with 2 different continents at most and then the outerworld, packed into at most 1200 chapters, this could've been one of the greatest novels. Oh and if he didn't lose his badboy streak out of nowhere.

I read until chapter 950 or so when he lifts the weapon and becomes leader of that (is it half moon?) sect. Did the MC gain any more true harem members since then? Not just ones he just one time rapes or whatever (I don't like that aspect of the novel.)
