I'm looking for a story, I don't remember if it was a translated novel or not or something from RoyalRoad. If I recall correctly, at or near the beginning of the story the MC was blind. I don't recall if he started the story blind, if he was born blind or someone or something caused his blindness. But he had to get stronger, ie. cultivate, and he learned to get around in other ways, and after a few different cultivation tiers he managed to regain his sight or something equivalent eventually regrowing his eyes.
Paradise of Demonic Gods had a section where the MC was blinded and since people in that world could move super sonic that meant he couldn't compensate for it with hearing, so people looked down on him, that is what came to mind.
The Legend of the Sun Knight There is no cultivation in this novel, its more of magic and etc. MC went blind due to sacrificing his eyesight to revive his friend, got around it by sensing mana to "look". However, his best friend found out about it by asking him what was the colour of the object (he can only see the shape but not appearance).
Not the one I was thinking of, but definitely a good novel. This made me laugh, you may stay. Not the one I was looking for, though I have read it and it was another good novel. Actually haven't read either of these so I don't think they are it. But due to the recommendation, I'm going to start reading Divine Throne next.
