However, I would say some things he got, because he was qualified, but not all. The Forest girl and the help from her for example: later towards the story sure he was qualified, but a different story when he first met her. He was a low level cultivator, and she was someone of high importance. Even more important than his home kingdom. For her, it was a whim of curiosity, turned romance.

I was mostly talking about what he got before meeting her... the sect's hope and resources and all that...

I kind of agree... I was reading it since I saw people saying how it's a harem and MC is proactive and then we get to this part and I'm like 'what? wait a moment! just a few chapters ago you say you love her and all that bullsh*t and make her have a bit of hope, give her a bit of confidence that her status as widow doesn't make you dislike her or something and then you just go away like all that never happened... '

There hasn't been any progression indeed, it is actually not that bad... if you can forget about the mc's stupidity and denseness..

Um, it wasn't really ntr, just that she got taken once while she couldn't move and the other party was under some aphrodisiac's influence... the guy felt guilty afterwards, she thought she did it with MC, and MC didn't have any idea what it was all about, only later things get solved... a lot of weird stuff going on.

 

I can only think of one mc I would consider ending, but after reading about some of these other ones, I might need to save the bullet.
