    I feel like there aren't enough people translating these kinds of novels or there are too few of them out there.

    When I say modern day novel I mean the kinds with a business-oriented character or maybe he is an author, actor, musician, athlete, etc.

    I am not asking for recommendations I just hope someone who reads this is a translator maybe he/she pick up a good novel in this genre as they are usually pretty good and it gives us a change of pace from all the action-adventure cultivation etc novel.

    really? I feel like there is too many, which is why i cant read like 1/3 of the novels on this site. Too much awful meshing of magic/cultivation with current day activities which authors don't understand. Oh and the overwhelming number of "Black Bellied Mistress coereces Evil King Husband" brand of novels which I don't get who actually enjoys

    those aren't the type im looking for those aren't even in the range im looking for. those are female main character novel I don't read female main character novels.

    Bro, use SERIES FINDER. Then use TAGS. Choose AND. Inside the column INCLUDE, type MALE PROTAGONIST, MODERN DAY. Apply Filters. Problem solved. You gonna surprised the results.

    I don't think perfect superstar is yaoi, maybe you have mistaken it for something else?

    I think u mean too many bad cultivation novels in modern day... there are quite a lot if u look for em, esp fluff/romance.
