What is with these fathers in every other manhwa. Such tsundere characters! Like if you hate your child so much, why made one at first? If the mother of the child did something hocus pocus and caught you in her web then atleast spare the child and get her adopted into a family that's loving (cause every manhwa dad is either an Emperor or a Duke that too a very powerful one but stupid enough as well) ? What's the child's mistake in it.
Romance ain't the main focus here. Fluffy relationship between the cold-hearted father and daughter is. How the love from his cutesy daughter melted his ice-cold heart and he again gained a human heart which was lost in the dunes of time. (ara I am cringing here but oh well, I can't complain because even still I am going to read it.) Spoiler: about the theme it is centred on its a light novel revolving around parenting and family. sure there would be some cute-fluffy moment between the little boys and the mc. But that's it "cute-stuff" limited to children. and Spoiler: a teeny-weeny bit about the kids 1.the raven-haired amber(yellow?)-eyed guy...is the calm collected and serious kind. A possible greedy tsundere? (yand-) 2. a blue-eyed brunette - the big bro... till date a sweetheart. 3.the red-eyed blondie (the prince)...slightly older than mc...is playful and flirtatious...around his early 10s ( maybe wrong) 4. a silver-haired blue-eyed girlie. a friend
Does anyone have any spoilers to share? Just read chapter 2 and boy and I'm feeling pissed right now. Seeing how the foster daughter is treated and cared for... and the coldness the duke emits when talking about Lottie irks me. I'm sure he's acting cold to Lottie because he knows she's fated to die but it annoys the hell out of me.He probably knows that some of the maids are mistreating Lottie and that she isn't recieving the care a child should be getting but he isn't doing anything about it. His reasoning will likely be that 'there's no point in getting involved since fate has already been set in stone' kind of bullshit. When the foster asked why she wasn't allowed to go into Lottie's old room... I had a spark of hope but his awnser was truly disheartening. He stopped people from entering because of her illness... I was secretly hoping he would show some sign of sadness that Lottie means more... since she's so cute. When he finally wants to get close to Lottie, I really hope she makes him work for it. Also anyone know why he chose to adopt Dhalia (pretty sure that was her name)? And what did Lottie die from? What is her background? Who is Lottie's mother?
Not to mention one of the maids is actively starving her. If mc is a normal toddler, she would have been murdered!!
Tbh right now, I really hate the father and I have a feeling that the ogMc is going to be the white lotus/villainess of the story. Who knows if the Mc really had a disease in the book and not just died of abuse from the maids
there's really something about this manhwa that got me, maybe it's the mc because she's so cute!! i may be here for the romance but i want to see how her relationship with her father will grow even though we know how it will be
