She is good in hiding her emotion also the mere fact that she is treated decently is already destroying her common sense with her being a slave and all. It is pleasant but her common sense is still being destroyed.

With her made into a blacksmith she may create a legendary items and might destroy her common sense about common items. Watch as this crumble away as she see them fight.

On this last chapter we could see her having the common sense that is is impossible to be that strong.

It was at this part that mtl of the raws got bad. I need more chapters nau...this part with yukari was hard to understand.

Ohh, I see , I must admit I cried a little at several places while translating Yukari's "arc"

 

I got the impression (from the bad mtl) that she was tough...or am I remembering things badly?

Obviously Second makes her cry...he is such a NEET...and “ insensitivity” is his middle name...

Important: I really, really, weally, weally love this novel.

 

She is somewhat cold, that is her real personality, but... Maybe I should put this in spoiler for those who read this (?) and dont want to be spoiled for the next couple chapters. But since you read the MTL you might know it.

Spoiler: Yukari's real personality.

She was tough and pretty self-reliant, not really trusting Second, but that was because she was brainwashed to keep her safe. The "order" from the brainwashing was "do not trust your next master", so that she couldnt say a word about her time as a shadow and get to live.
After the brainwashing is broken (in this chapter) she acts a little more friendly, but she's still "cold", not tough, at least not to my knowledge (up to chapter 36).
Picture her as a Butler. She gives that sort of atmosphere.

I’m not as invested in the story as the translator...(having said that I am invested in Sang Hyuk in One Man Army as editor...) so I thought this chapter was rushed...author should have used an entire arc to explore Yukari’s arc...stretch out her confessions, and explore her feelings more.

Of course, that doesn’t seem to be a skill of the author in dealing with emotional arcs...and it needs to be planned into the story...

I’m hoping the next chapter will have a better reveal. I may need to reread the Yukari arc to fully understand it.. I get the feeling I’m missing something.

 

Have to reread...it seems to me that the author is indeed rushing the background essential plot developments. But that’s just me. New readers will enjoy a more comprehensive overview of the Yukari arc.

I’m more into the next arc, which based on my imperfect reading of the raws is when they really begin to go for the top positions...and political plots begin. I am SO looking forward to that!

The thing I like the most about this novel is how the game mechanics translates into the real world. Too bad, though, as when the MC finally sleeps with one of the girls, he will get a black screen and “Morning has Arrived.” Notification...

 

Imagine the real life ramifications of violent slaves freeing themselves by headbutting, you'd think they'd be aware after a few incidents where someone trips head first and decides to pk the owner's entire family.

 

Yeah, but nobody knows...unless Yukari opens her mouth to spark a revolution...

I think the headbutting has to be between master and slave, not just any random person. And I really believe the chances of a slave "accidentally" headbutting their master and living to tell the tale is quite low.
But who knows, I read only a couple chapters ahead of what I translate, that way I can talk to people and not spoil stuff
