Music and Novel

I like read book as much as listen music, sometime doing both. Sometimes a chapter of novel remind me with a song or music and vice versa.
Have you ever feel the same? If no, then don't bother it If yes, please tell song/music title and related novel chapter / novel title.
Recently, I'm collecting traditional instrument music and Fate 姻缘 - Ancient Chinese Style remind me with To Be A Virtuous Wife. I feel sad, elegance and struggle coming from this music

I not quite fond doing both... Unless it soundtrack/bgm or without voice.mp3 that usually used for action scene

 

For me it's music reminds me of manga like Mirrors (Justin Timberlake) reminds me of Kimi No IruMachi, I Won't Give Up (Jason Mraz) reminds me of Love Hina.

 

while it hasn't happened to me while reading a novel, but for me sometimes i listen to something so much while reading something that music makes me think of what i was reading, like whenever i hear the song clarity i think of D.gray man

 

"We will never ever ever ~ Getting back together!" Yup, that lyric just pop up in my head when Linley and Alice reunited after years of separation IET sure like to messed up the first love of the MC in his novel!

 

This one reminds of climax of events. Kind of like as if it was on fast forward.

 

I usually listen to music and play game or read a novel at the same time so I got a feeling when listening to a song and it remind me of the game or novel for example the song " blame it on the night " is used by me to play a blacksmiting game on Facebook sometimes ago and now when I play the song I remember the game

 

I feel it becomes hard to concentrate and imagine the story while listening music, especially when there is lyrics...

 

I don't have novels remind me of music but these last few days I have been listening to a lot of music while reading. I like loud stuff in my ears. It helps me read somehow. Been listening to a lot of songs by 'Disturbed'

 

I do both almost all the time, but I just listen to random songs in my library

 

Usually read novels with instrumental music in the background (sometimes music with lyrics)

Some scenes remind me of some musics and they play in my minds, so I have to stop the actual music, and continue reading the scene with the music in my mind

Same with me, when I listen to Ue O Muite by Kyu Sakamoto I think of the Douluo Dalu manhua and when I listen to Oh Well by Fleetwood Mac I think of God Of Highschool.

 

when i don't listen to music i remember all the novel
