My Deepest Darkest Secrets Revealed

My darkest secret is what I did to my oldest and best friend. I was 10 or 11 at the time, 5th grade. Our group of friends used to play pranks on each other like tripping each other or tacks on the seat. The usual kids stuff. Anyways, my friend used to have the habit of leaning his chair back on two legs. I get the bright idea one morning to just tap it to make him fall. What I didn't account for was the desk behind him or that he would hit his head. That day ended with him going home and to the doctors. I never got into any trouble, because he didn't remember hitting his head and thought he just fell. After a few weeks it was forgotten, until about 6 months after that he started having seizures. They eventually controlled the seizures with drugs but to this day I still think that they are linked. I have studied seizure extensively and am currently in medical school. He remains my best friend, and I have kept that secret for 18 years. Maybe someday I can repair what I did, so he wont have to live with that condition.

 

We haven't reach the realm of dirtiness yet.

Secret #7: My school makes you do something called a "Senior Project" during your senior year. Basically, you need to learn a skill/trade/etc under an adult who will teach you how to do this. My Senior Project was learning how to play the guitar. I didn't do a single thing, and I had my mentor lie about me actually learning anything. When it was time for my presentation, I had my friend make a PowerPoint about everything I need to know about the guitars history, and just read it off. When I had to play the instrument, I played the 7 notes to a song called "You and I" by an artist called J.R. Aquino (awesome song you should all listen to btw) and hit the guitar strap in a way that would knock it off. I cracked the head of the guitar earlier that day, so when it fell it broke and I couldn't play. The 3 teachers watching and judging thought it was an accident and passed me with an A. I was never as proud of myself as I was that moment

 

I feel you put a bit too much effort into that and I'd be easier, and more rewarding to actually have just learned how to play...
But I know you'd respond with something along the lines of "I'm lazy, fuck you" So I'll shut up.
