I am about to start My Disciple Died Yet Again and want to know more about the novel. I have a couple questions: how long is each arc? around how many arcs are there? what genre/ topic of the some of the arcs? (cultivation? interstellar? ancient china? modern?) is it depressing? did you enjoy it? Thank you
It's been a while since I've read this, but I think there's like 5-6 arcs, basically every time she dies. All of the arcs are xianxia, there's like 3 in the same world, 1 in the underworld, and 1 in the past, and 1 in the immortal realm, I think? No modern except for at the end, and it's not really an arc, it's just the ending. I enjoyed it at first but it got really repetitive. MC is a total Mary Sue, she's pretty hypocritical --rules for thee but not for me-- and her favorite phrase is "Scram!!" There's practically no angst except. Spoiler: ... With her brother who died trying to save/find her and is later reincarnated as a devil. She treats him like shit and he doesn't really get a happy ending.
