I think its finished cuz crow and ilya get reunited and she comes back from the dead basically instead of restarting again cuz usually when she dies she goes back to that tea party where her fiancé and her sister meet but now she gets to be with Crow, she no longer has to suffer. She was also able to let go of her fiancé and tell him that she doesn’t love him anymore, it was something she couldn’t do no matter how many times she tried in her past lives, so i really think this was the end
Chapter 54 could have worked as an ending, but the author went on and started and last? arc with chapter 55. And on syosetsu the series is still classified as "ongoing" so maybe, one day, we'll have answers to some of our questions about Crow's magic and Ilya's curse
This novel/manga isn't good for my weak heart. Is it hiatus? Because In syosetu they not updating for at least half a year.
Just found the manga adaptation today and had a flashback of lazynoodles comment on one of the JP novel spoiler threads I made (The Villain's Love I think) with this being so... heartwrenching. So far, only reached as far as page 9 of the threads. Gotta sleep. A bit sad this hasn't gotten an update apparently? Its almost a year at this point. Any news from the author's socmed?
OMG. How long she the author going hiatus this wayyyyyyyy too long. It took me a fews hours read the spoiler and some discussion. AND IT STILL ongoing. NO ENDING???! it really breaking my heart that the author didn't not updated it. It already December 2020 almost enter new year but still no ending?? Did author lost idea or something?? I know my word may be mean but it can't helpppp Many reader suffer alot after reading this novel/manga . Actually it my first time read novel/manga or comic book that still have no ending. How about this: Reset. Shameless husband is able to marry the sister this time. Yay! Everyone's happy. On the day of their wedding, the sister chokes on some water and dies. Guy's sad. Our protagonist is already married to some other guy at this point too, so he ends up alone. The end. An insignificant end to an insignificant couple.
Or they continue the final timeline, Soleil brings the news about Ilya to her house, the mom feels guilty for she never showed she love Ilya, her father was also guilty because the very daughter she neglected was the one who save his precious princess, they send guards to look for her dead body, but found nothing and haunted by guilt for the rest of their life. Sylvia died because of sadness and Soleil couldn't marry her in the end. Meanwhile Ilya is living the rest of her life with Crow travelling the world together until she died of old age naturally and Crow also died because the magic supporting him ran out. Their soul move on and reincarnated to the next life where they meet again, but without their past memories. Finally the two start a new normal life together while the others stuck in a loop replacing Ilya, in which they tried to save her but always failed in the end. Just a wishful thinking
I think I will welcome this "version" in my heart as my ideal ending. I'm not even going to wait any longer, because chances are great that I will end up reading something that will make me suffer even more and see so many shameless characters going unpunished and happy.
Who is the ml? Here? Is the ml is the one who repeat to fall inlove with her sister? How did the ml fall inlove with the fl? And what happen to the sister? Why is her sister keep dying in every arc?
I'm quitting, I really can't read this anymore ... I only read 1st chapter of the manga and I got frustrated and angry, I came here for some spoilers but I got more frustrated... I am wondering how people (the author) can write stories with such pain and frustration, Stories are supposed to be fun. I am not saying that they should be free from painful events or intrigues that make you excited, but this is too much, it frustrates me .. So the best remedy: 1- quit the story 2- Read a novel with a strong FL 3- Read a novel with yandere ML and strong FL 4- Reading a novel full of cute childrens
Ok so i just want to finalize...the current arc or state of Ilya is (before author dipped) ... She gets stabbed, Crow finds her, she is somehow magically revived and promises to be with crow. Is that correct? If it is, does anyone know the current state of Soleil and Sylvia?
I make a resumed of all I understand from the novel Warning: I give number to the life MC have but in reality we didn't know how many time she repeated her life. There is mention of Ilya's lifes between two story we cannot really place. The story didn't tell all her life, she repeated her life more than the story tell. Spoiler: Life 1 She loves Soleil and plays the stereotypical "villainess" by separating the two, chastising her sister in public, etc. She is wrongfully condemned to death by Soleil for plotting her sister's death. Spoiler: Life 2 She returns to the moment when she is already hopelessly in love with Soleil, thinking that as long as she is forgiving and gentle this time, he won't condemn her and somehow they'll live a satisfying married life. She leverages shady tactics to protect herself from false accusation and stop the bandits as the perfect Marchioness. She refuses Al's help in running away because he already died because of her in the first life. Instead she dies in childbirth, accused of adultery bc of her bad rep. Spoiler: Life 3 She is traumatized by the loss of her child and goes half insane thinking her child still exists. She gets imprisoned in her room where she meets Crow for the first time. He consoles her and is her only companion. She makes him promise to protect Silvia from the bandits. Silvia gets pregnant with Soleil's child and is taken in as mistress. Ilya commits suicide. Spoiler: Life 4 Ilya decides to take her escort knight Al's offer and run. He dies to the Marquess' knights in the attempt because one of his comrades betrayed them. She is forced to return because she was raised as the future Marchioness and they have no replacement. Soleil acts like she betrayed him. Ilya discovers Al was survived by his fiance and knows she can never take his help again Spoiler: Life 5 Ilya raises Silvia as her successor so the Marquessate won't search for her even if she runs. She escapes alone but is intercepted by slave traders and sold to a brothel. Crow returns as she's on her deathbed, nursing her to make her last days comfortable. Crow finds Al, who takes her to Soleil and Silvia's manor because he thinks she'd want to be with family. Crow doesn't hear her ask for him to stay. Soleil and Silvia are married with children and on Ilya's deathbed Soleil has the gall to blame Ilya for absconding Spoiler: Life 6 Briefly mentioned, she gets run over by a carriage on their way to the theatre Spoiler: Life 7 Ilya spends all her time searching for Crow. More insight into Soleil. This loop takes a closer look at her relationship with her family. The household neglects her as she buries herself in studies in hopes of being loved. She avoids all her favorite things because Silvia likes them too and she'll always be seen as inferior. Only Crow notices this. She helps Silvia get permission to attend academy while she gets painted as the villainess in the academy. She's an outsider in her own family and we discover why along with why Silvia dies in certain timelines and not others. She thinks there might be something Crow's said, something very important that she's forgotten. She almost drowns in the bathtub. Spoiler: Life somewhere we don't really know Her near death by drowning melts into another preceding life where she's dying in a rain-soaked alleyway in Crow's arms. It does not become clear until much later, but her lives are blending together in her jumbled memories. Spoiler: Life 7, Checkpoint Her mother commits suicide after Ilya confronts her with Silvia's real identity. She gets accused of causing her mother's death. She died, beat up by her dad at her mother's funeral. Spoiler: Life 7, Checkpoint 2 Yay, new checkpoint! By unraveling the mystery she gets restored to the moment her mother attempts suicide and prevents her death. She unravels the entire backstory of Silvia's birth and dies in the course of saving Silvia's life from the bandit attack in the first life. They aren't bandits, but part of a deeper plot, overcoming a third checkpoint! She tells Soleil she doesn't love him. Spoiler: Soleil POV In Soleil POV we learn that he like cute and fragile girls. But since he is a marquis, he is on top of the noblesse (there is no duke in his country) he cannot have a weak wife. So he choose Ilya who is a strong women. From his POV, he just logically cannot accept another woment than Ilya since she is so skilled, he really try to be a good husband and really think he is nice to litle sis only because he his her brother, a family member. He don't really care about Ilya because she is strong so she didn't need him. Since Soleil is the most important noble after the royals, no one dare to try talking to him about is behavior. And since no one tell him he mistreat is fiance, he didn't realise it either. When we know what happen after Ilya death he never have an happy ending. In the first loop he was killed by Ilya knight "Al" and no one help him. Because even if he use all mean to condemn Ilya, the nobles know she is innocent but cannot do anything about it, so when the knight avenge her, the nobles didn't blame him. In the loop where Ilya died from sickness after running away (life 5), he kill himself. Spoiler: Sylvia POV She have a YOLO mindset. She is sick and probably died before her 20 years so she want to know love etc... She is rotten spoiler too by her family and since she will probaly died before being an adult she never take any lesson. She just only stay in home and being loved by everyone. Since everyone loved and forgive her, Ilya will forgive her too even if she like her husband. In the loop where Ilya kill herself she wake up from her YOLO mindset and start a depression before dying. In the last loop, she have her wake up before going to far and stand up from Ilya mistreatment. Since evrytime litle sis died, that didn't end well for Ilya, she have a trauma where she deeply convinced that litle sis must survive for her to live. Spoiler: About family That one is funny, Ilya have a trash family too yeah ! In another country there is a princess who was in love with her knight. They use the rebellion to elope in another country where there are very happy. But the rebellion stop and the princess need to return. Because the princess was a selfish b*tch jaleous she order her maid to marry the knight. Like that she was sure he never forget her. The knight and the maid have a girl, it's Ilya and some times later they receive anoter child from the princess. Because their relationship was a secret, the litle princess cannot stay in her country so the princess give her to her father and order her maid to take care of her better than her own child, that litle sis. All the royals are dead now and the next country have a power strugle, Sylvia have strong royal specific trait so she can became queen. If she go outside she is a treath to the people from next kingdom who want to be king (she was killed by them in the 1er loop) so her mother used drug (real drug, not medecine) to maintain Sylvia sick and at home where she is safe. When Ilya ask her mother about the drug, she kill herserlf in front of her and MC was accused of murdering her. The father was so angry he hit her so strongly she died. In the last loop, she prevent her mother from suicide and tell his father his wife is depressed. Spoiler: About the ML It's crow, a raven. XD it's a magician boy who his dad make some experimentation in him, he died and became a ghost. a doctor help him stablised and after that he just stroll around since he cannot speak and peoples don't see him. After some times, peoples who have magic disapear and no one can see him. One day he obtain a puppet and enter inside. He have ne new body, (he transform himself in a raven to be free of his movement) while he enjoy his life and body and century or millenia (i don't know) alone, he meet Ilya in the loop where she kill herself. He observe her and wanted to help her but he don't know how. After her death he was depressed and find the doctor (who is still alive, we don't know how) and discuss about timeloop. He try using his power and succes, after that he chase her in the differents loop. At first he wanted to remove the bad after taste of his mouth to see Ilya life. After some time he start to really care about her. Spoiler: About the timeloop Ilya isn't prisonner from a timeloop, her soul traverse dimension instead. We don't know why or how yet. That explain why Ilya didn't have good ending in each loop. The character isn't the same, there are some differences like her friend who have a good relationship with her fiance or not. The dimension are all diferente so Ilya cannot predict what happen.
THANK YOU EVERYONE <3 as i looked through all 33 pages, you have all saved my heart from serious angst and damage Manga is up to chapter 5 as of a few hours ago. Crow has appeared! <3 YES THIS LMAO. I like needed to know what happened but damn this all hurts so much. I like everyone's ideas about what their ideal ending for the story would be. I'm slightly tempted to write a fanfic but I feel like I'd need to read the story to get a feel for the writing on the characters...and I ain't going to go down that rabbit hole lol. I'm wondering how the manga will end up going about adapting the story. Like is it a for sure thing that the manga will reach up to Ch 54 from the novel or is it possible for the manga to get canceled if it gets HUGE dislike from the newer generation of fans from this story? If the manga does reach the "ending" of the novel, I wonder if the author will have already updated the story to catch up to the manga OR if the manga will end it there OR if the manga will decide to continue on with its own development and ending? Currently so thankful for the spoilers on Mangadex that saved me from following the manga right now that it's so early in the story ...I might check it out but probably once the manga chapters are closer to being done like at the "ending" arc. Thank you everyone for all your efforts and discussions and theories. Truly enjoyed reading the spoilers (although it was so angsty and painful). Will be watching the thread for future.
I swear I will chose the Male Lead from 'Lady to Queen' anytime over this piece of ____. Atleast I can rely on the fact that since his stepmother tortured him so much so that's why he's a little twisted and all. Although I don't hold any high comments about him but if given to choose between him and this so called insult of a husband, I'll choose the former anytime. P.S - I'm literally having after effects by reading the spoilers about this masochistic novel. I'm gonna read Cheating Men Must Die for some relief right away.
My kinda ending I'll tell you how it will end. Finally the love of Crow and MC is able to overcome the loop. The loop cease to exist and Crow's soul returns in time and is born as the Crown Prince. Whereas as the timeline continues after his birth, he still remembers all the hell he and MC went through, the MC remembers it all. But she doesn't find her 'Crow' anywhere this time and as she's habitual of the following events of her 'fiancé' falling in 'love' with her sister, she pretty much accepts this life very early. But..but...our Crown Prince aka Crow exposes the ongoing drama between the little sister and the fiancé, and the guests started whispering how the daughter of a mistress has followed the same path of her mother. The Crown Prince forces the Marquis to cancel his marriage with MC and marry the sister, so the twist is the piece of sh- cough did get to married the Sylvia but instead of the marriage being more out of love it is out of humiliation. They both become joke of the century. Meanwhile our MC gets set with the Crown Prince aka Crow and later they both become the King and Queen. Also, her mother takes courage and divorces the father and gets married to a middle aged childless widower who loves and welcomes her wholeheartedly. Happy Ending for them. Coming to the Marquis and Lil Sister, so even though they got married but the reputation goes down the drainage, totally, also due to lil sis being pampered from birth, buys and shops so much that it affects the household. The Marquis, her husband also start losing his wealth cause nobody's talking to him and he blames MC for his misfortune, he thinks that she's taking revenge from him, but when he sees her being all happy and giddy with the Prince his mirage evaporates. Fast forward, all he's left with his nothing, Sylvia cheats and later dies cause of sickness, he's miserable, he regrets and rolls on the floor but uh-uh, the time's not gonna go back (finally) he also gets all the memories and sees how much effort MC put in surviving their relationship. He remains an ugly widower his whole life cause no gurl spittin on him and his character gets questioned too. MC's Father - Same with him, he also discovers that Sylvia was infact, not his child. Mama Sylvia was pregnant with another man's child. Devastated, grovels nothing happens. Live all his life like a zombie along with his so called 'son in law' Soliel. The End
Why? Also, weren't we just spoiled on the whole Sylvia thing? Crow and MC don't need a completely new story to have a happy ending.
You don't have to take it seriously, it is just as I said, My Kinda Ending. It is just like few of the other forum mates who've expressed their type of ending, I've done that too. The ending surely completely depends on the author herself.
