I likes to write fiction and now I faced a problem that I can't describe the person. Because I can't find right word especially eyes. So I decided to ask from people of this forum how to describe woman on this picture especially her eyes. It looked scary but gentle at same time. When I asked from my father who draws paints of people. He answered it is buddha eyes but how I describe buddha eyes to people reading my fic ?
There are a few ways I could think, but if it's your fiction I think it's best you try to define it in a way that fits your story. Here's a link to a site that helped me figure out a few descriptions: https://kathysteinemann.com/Musings/eyes/ Edit: I'd probably go with something like "ominous fae-like eyes" to describe her foreboding but 'seems-to-draw-you-in' type of eyes
Penetrating eyes, serene eyes, otherworldly eyes, soulless eyes. puff I guess I suck at it, just stop thinking too much about it, you might get the inspiration later on.
When describing anything, you can use a physical description like oblique or slanted or round or doe eyes. Another way is by using your own reaction to the person's eyes. I would describe these eyes as having a gentle gaze, similar to a lazy sunday morning that at any moment could shift to thunder or lightning. If asked further I would say there is no possibility of showers, which is why the gaze can be so candid and soft.
Her eyes wearing that deep obsidian color, an ominous hue of gloomy malevolence, now emanated an expression of sincere joy. Something like this?
