I want to get a new laptop to replace my broken laptop. It's not broken as in destroyed, but the wires have short-circuited, making the monitor useless. I can't access the insides since I don't have the right screwdriver to open the case. In any case, I need a good laptop that is around $300 dollars. I prefer gaming laptops, but day-to-day laptops are also fine.
Yes. I know good gaming laptops should at least have $500 minimum, but I don't have the money for it.
WAIT, if you know its only the monitor that has broken then couldn't you buy the right screw and new monitor? It is really easy to replace and you just have to search it up. Unless you want to replace the laptop cuz its old then go ahead and buy a new one. I would go on newegg.com. There are laptops on there for less than 300$, but you have to check the specs/hardware. Gaming laptops or PC's usually cost above 800$ for a good one. Edit:Btw I wouldn't even try to get a gaming laptop, it's not fun to play on those. A pc is.

Gaming laptop 300$? The only thing i can think of is only asus tho... But really, the max cap you can have is probably only 4gbram and intel processor, but if you are a gamer just pick the one with amd processor tho... But with 300$ i really doubt it... I'm still saving money like you too to be honest to brought a new asus with 8gb processor + intel invidia, it's 600$ sigh...
You don't necessarily have to get a new laptop if the monitor is just messed up. If you can live with your current laptop, you can use a computer monitor or even a fucking television and connect the two with an hdmi cable. Pretty much the same except the screen is in a different place. Give up on the gaming laptop, unless you don't mind second hand, in that case check amazon or something.
Gaming laptop with that much would be nearly impossible to find, (of course you can try checking out the auctions). Day-to-day laptops, well a lots of it are available but you would need to check out which to get (at least the one with better specifications).

$300 USD will not get you a decent gaming laptop it will get you a pretty good laptop for casual clicker games my laptop was around $350 usd and I still had to add more ram just to play Oblivion and battlefront 2 (2005) what $300 will get you is around 6gb of ram; 1tb hard drive; a Standard HD gfx card; and a mid fifth generation I3 processor
