Commercials aren't exactly a bad thing. They force you to take some time off from your shows even if it's just a minute or two and let's what you watch think in so you can theorize your own theories. Also they sometimes have really interesting things
Cable originally came about as an alternative to network. You paid to watch the same tv WITHOUT the ads. Over time that wasnt lucrative enough so ads were added.
I don't watch tv and don't use netflix so it doesn't affect me in any way. Also, you'll most likely still have to pay more for netflix, since it can't work without an internet connection so you have to pay that too.
I watch all my cable TV and movies from Torrent Downloads and Link-Sharing sites. Netflix will never take my money.
