LCD Nigotta Hitomi no Lilianne

Hmmmmmm... It's not a thing of being a problem for the title, but simply because it would go against the premise of the novel IMO.

As in, I, as a reader, entered the story with the expectations of reading a novel about a girl afflicted by blindness... If those expectations end up betrayed, it ends up being somewhat easy to drop the novel...

Kinda like how Otoburi betrayed its premise of being about a Magic Otaku and became a story focused on a war, rebellion and internal kingdom problems... It's not necessarily a bad development, but it goes against the premise of the novel, it's bad to do this kind of move because the readers won't be getting what they signed up for anymore.

I personally would accept that "Cloudy Eyes Lilianne" the most badass and OP sorceress in the kingdom started out blind...

Apprentice1: Oh no! She's looking this way...oh...those cloudy eyes that are magic! They're glaring at me! Brrr...

Apprentice2: Imbecile...master is blind! That's why her eyes are like that!

Apprentice1: She is? Saved!

Lilianne: Not saved. I can smell the booze on your clothes. One week cleaning toilets.

I get where you're coming from
But how can she go out in the world and show how OP she is if she can't move around too much..? Unless this is gonna be a pure research novel..?

OooOoooooo how about if Kuti makes a hearing enhancement sorcery?
Maybe make Lily something like Daredevil?

 

Just..no "Electra", please...pathetically stupid movie, no wonder Jen Gardner's career ended up pft. Not even her outfit saved that train wreck. If she had gone topless though...

But I agree, This novel needs to go beyond...we need to read about how she tramples demons, explodes dragons and slays monsters...CUTELY.

Ah, I thought this novel would just keep on being fluffy slice of life without anything particularly remarkable happening, but... Well, it depends on how things go~

Either way, if Lily reveals even 1/2 of her knowledge, I think Ena would give her some freedom... After being pressured by Annela of course~

 

I want it to be most fluffy slice of life too...
But foreshadows are aplenty...
-Dungeon ecology is slowly being revealed
-Lily's personal guard's existance
-said guards all slowly developing Magic eyes
-the fairy homeworld problem happening
-external forces attacking the mansion for various reasons(from that one flashback)
- etcetera

I feel like Lily's gonna go out in the world either by choice or by force at some point..

 

Well, as long as Lily still takes things easy, it will probably be fine~

Besides, I have a feeling Kuti can beat the whole world by herself if needed~

Nope. After that the author took 3 years off, but then continued the story.
As of now, I think it is basically completed since only a few extra chapters (Idle talks) are posted every once in a while.

 

It's not complete, author jumps between his other novels. He writes a volume for Lilianne, goes to another novel, returns to Lilianne, etc. It just took him three years that one time, lol.

 

Ohh, well, it is true he took 3 years off (off lilianne at least ) I havent read his other works, I'll have to check them out.

 

So... Kuti is developing a tablet/notebook thing that Lily can use and it's already almost as advanced as the stuff we use in modern times...?

I wonder if Lily will find a way to tell her family about the Reki Magic Stone... They could use it to power the entire house most likely, including the barrier.

Or maybe it could power the entire city, Lily is that amazing after all... Or maybe it will just be used as a battery to power a Kutitop instead of Kutipads. Who knows~?

Oh, Lily just discovered her influence on the knights to make them awake magic eyes~

Hmmmmmm... I wonder this didn't apply to Theo and Ellie too though... Well, good luck powaful knights! ^^)/

 

Not only that, she changed their magic eyes in front of everybody. I think this time her OPness will became evident. At least it should be, to preserve the good name of Christopher house.

 

I doubt anyone will notice, the wasn't quite using sorcery, but just manipulating an inactive magical power within the others.

It's similar to when she expanded her magical power on the earlier chapters back when her mother was hugging her, at most it gave a feeling of Claire being hugged by Lily, it's not really noticeable.

So... For as long as she doesn't activate any sorcery, her deeds related to magic will probably stay hidden~
